[Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#699420: k3b: impossible Erase window: 'Found medium: Empty CD-RW medium' 'Waiting for Disk'
Package: k3b Version: 2.0.2-6 Severity: normal Tags: upstream Dear Maintainer, With a used CDRW disk (apparently undamaged) in the drive, to be blanked, K3B correctly reported: Found medium: Empty CD-RW medium In that same window K3B made an impossible request: Please insert a rewritable CD medium into drive(...) None of the three options offered: 'Load', 'Eject', or 'Cancel', helped K3B do any erasing. (See attached PNG.) PS : Perhaps the CDRW medium was borked by another burner program. Usually K3B blanks disks just fine. But a high level burner app should never contradict itself -- bad media is no excuse! PPS: later, 'xfburn' was able to blank the same CDRW medium. [Pkg-kde-extras] Bug#699502: ktouchpadenabler: Only Disables touchpad until touchpad is touched
Package: ktouchpadenabler Version: 0.1.1-1 Severity: important Hello. I installed ktouchpadenabler from unstable and hoped that I could use it to capture the XF86TouchpadToggle event from the media keys on my laptop. When I trigger the touchpad disable, the cursor disappears. However, if I touch anywhere on the touchpad, it becomes active again. I want to disable the touchpad until I toggle it enabled again and ktouchpadenabler doesn't seem to work for that. Thanks for your time. Forgot to mention, according to synaptiks my touchpad is a ETPS/2 Elantech Touchpad Also, if I install synaptiks and tell it to disable the touchpad while I'm typing, it works. (except for the LED light which doesn't work in synaptiks or ktouchpadenabler and will be a different bug report). ktouchpadenabler just seems to make the cursor disappear, and then if I touch the touchpad anywhere, it reappears and the touchpad is still enabled. ___ pkg-kde-extras mailing list pkg-kde-extras@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
