Oops, sorry, the package was from debian multimedia and I didn't realize
(I thought I installed the testing package). Sorry for the bogus report
then :/

Maybe I am confused, but shouldn't debian packages declare proper
dependencies? The above command only fixes this on my system (where it is
already fixed), not in the actual package which didn't have the proper
dependency (assuming I didn't hit an apt-get bug).

Greetings,

Bug#908856: libprojectm2v5: unsatisfiable dependency on projectm-data:i386

2018-09-15 Thread Marc Lehmann
Package: libprojectm2v5
Version: unsatisfiable dependency on projectm-data:i386
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

while trying to install clementine:i386, I get this problem:

 clementine:i386 : Depends: projectm-data:i386 (>= 2.0.1+dfsg-6) but it is not
installable
libprojectm2v5:i386 : Depends: projectm-data:i386 but it is not installable

apparently, libprojectm2v5 has a dependency to projectm-data:i386, but the
projectm-data package is Architecture: all.

I don't know if this is a problem with projectm-data, libprojectm2v5 or
apt - apologies if I am reporting this against the wrong package.
