Upload of Libav 0.8.1 to unstable
Hi, I'd like to upload Libav 0.8.1 to unstable. This release features a number of security related fixes, so I intend to use urgency=high: CVE-2012-0848 CVE-2012-0853 CVE-2012-0858 CVE-2011-3929 CVE-2011-3936 CVE-2011-3937 CVE-2011-3940 CVE-2011-3945 CVE-2011-3947 CVE-2011-3951 CVE-2011-3952 plus a number of bugfixes: http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=212 http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=216 http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=220 http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=221 http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=227 http://bugzilla.libav.org/show_bug.cgi?id=237 While this release does not change the SONAME, it does bump shlibs. In fact, the 4:0.8-2 upload (currently in unstable only) should have bumped that already, but didn't. I therefore think that 4:0.8.1-1 with bumped shlibs should go to unstable ASAP. Still, I'd like to get an OK before uploading from the release team. -- regards, Reinhard ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
jackd2 1.9.8~dfsg.2-1 MIGRATED to testing

Audacity 2.0 and Ubuntu 11.10
Hello I am using Audacity on an Ubuntu 11.10 system. Presently, the latest version available through the software repositories is 1.3.14. Now that Audacity 2.0 has been released, could you ensure it is available through the repositories as well? This will make installation of the latest stable version *much* easier for people like me who find compiling from source difficult. My thanks to the entire debian/ubuntu multimedia team. :-) (http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Release_Notes_2.0.0) ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

Alioth Team Admins
Hi, I remember the discussion about who should be Alioth Team Admin. IMHO having everyone as admin is an overkill. It is enough to have a bunch of active members who accept (or decline) join request. I don't need or want to be Admin. -- Benjamin Drung Debian Ubuntu Developer signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers
Re: Alioth Team Admins
If you do not want to be an admin, just grant yourself lowered privileges in the team page. I surely hope we didn't decide everyone was forced to be an admin. What we did decide is that anyone who wants to be an admin, can be one (that is, we trust every team member to be an admin by default). Re: Alioth Team Admins
I did this some time ago. Either I failed in changing my privileges back then or someone else made me Admin again. Well, you are listed as a senior developer in the admin page... On Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 20:23, Benjamin Drung bdr...@debian.org wrote: I did this some time ago. Yes, because I removed my Admin role just now. Am Donnerstag, den 15.03.2012, 20:30 -0300 schrieb Felipe Sateler: Well, you are listed as a senior developer in the admin page...
