Helping with Maintenance of Packages in Debian
Hi Christian, So I'll ask one more time and if the answer is no (or you don't respond), I won't bother you anymore. For the packages in DMO that can now be uploaded to Debian, will you be willing to help upload and maintain those packages in Debian? -- ~ Andres ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

Re: [SCM] libav/master: Seperate the ffmpeg program into the transitional package.
FYI, I placed the ffmpeg program in the transitional package. Reason being that once people migrate, they can then uninstall the transitional package and thus ffmpeg as well. I still think the other binaries should be separated into their own packages, especially the server. Users can deploy their minimal setup of avserver if they choose to do so. Bug#666032: audacious: Back slashes not interpreted as folder de-limiters
Package: audacious Version: 3.2.1-2 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Tried to play m3u playlist with backslash directory delimiter. These are useful for people who dual boot or share playlists with people using Windows. May Linux audio players understand these playlists, e.g. Foobnix 2.5.35 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Double clicked on the playlist in my file manager. * What was the outcome of this action? An error dialog like this: Cannot open /home/user/Music/Artist/Album\Subdirectory\01 - Artist - Song.mp3: No such file or directory. * What outcome did you expect instead? I expected the playlist to play like it always has before with audacious. It should interpret backslashes as forward slashes. The current jackd2 version available in Debian Wheezy fully supports ladish and also cooperates fine with it. What does this mean for jackd1? If it is enabled, is this worth mentioning? jackd1 can't be used with ladish, since we don't provide jack1dbus. AFAIK, there's a patch somewhere, but it's simply not necessary, jackd2 is just fine for that, so we leave jackd1 as is for the purists (no dependency on dbus and the like). IMHO, the paragraph about the no-self-connect patch can be removed entirely, since we already do the right thing(tm). ;) Cheers ___ pkg-multimedia-maintainers mailing list pkg-multimedia-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-multimedia-maintainers

So, this affects flowcanvas, I'll have a look at it as sonn as possible.
