i think the RC bug is fixable, but what is hard to fix is the
build-dependency on gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg (which doesn't compile with
modern libav).
flumotion's upstream is not really interested in porting flumotion to
gstreamer1.0.

i'm thus inclined to say, that flumtion ought to be dropped.

CDBS and *FLAGS (ardour: Please migrate from slv2 to lilv)

It turns out ardour already migrated. I've pushed the fix to the git
repo, but leave an actual upload to the regular Uploaders discretion.

Before uploading it would be great to fix few things.
lintian shows long list of warning related to hardening.
As scons are used as build system fixing of passing flags is needed.
I already tried yesterday but no success. :(

I'm trying and I'm facing a problem: CDBS is for some reason not
setting *FLAGS correctly: they are empty.

Jonas, could you shed any light on this? I'm stumped.

Bug#500051: marked as done (easytag: vorbis tags with hyphen get split into multiple tags)

to be marked as done.

Package: easytag
Version: 2.1.4-1.1
Severity: normal

It looks like the fix for #460247 causes tags with a hyphen to be split
into multiple tags.

For example:

ALBUM=Greatest Country Hits - Golden Greats (disc 1)

easytag will write the tag as:

ALBUM=Greatest Country Hits
ALBUM=Golden Greats (disc 1)

This is not what is expected or desired. Hyphens are not universal
delimiters for multitag fields. Vorbis tags already support multitag
fields, albeit not well by easytag, but easytag should not impose a
broken mechanism on top of a well thought out standard.

I have read through bug #460247 and understand the data loss concerns,
but the fix for that breaks functionality that was already present in
easytag.

If I start easytag with a path a component of which is unreadable,
easytag refuses to read the given path, even though the leaf directory
is readable and each component of the path is executable. This means
that I can't work with some files even though I do have access to them.

Dear Maintainer,

The package description contains some punctuation errors: enumerations should
end in semicolons instead of commas and Simple and explicit interface!,
should end in only one punctuation character ; rather than two.

Package: mplayer
Version: 2:1.0~rc4.dfsg1+svn34540-1+b2
Severity: grave

mplayer depends on obsolete packages libavcodec53, libavutil51 and
libavformat53, which have known security bugs that will never be fixed
(since the packages are no longer in unstable). According to debsecan:

i think the RC bug is fixable, but what is hard to fix is the
 build-dependency on gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg (which doesn't compile with
 modern libav).
flumotion's upstream is not really interested in porting flumotion to
 gstreamer1.0.

i'm thus inclined to say, that flumtion ought to be dropped.

Sounds reasonable. Moreover, if upstream isn't interested in fixing
the python-twisted issues it's probably dead.

Toonlop also has a new release 2.2.2. Alexandre, you are upstream for
this project. Does that version solve this issue?

Ping. It appears it doesn't. I updated and built toonloop (pushed the
changes), but it requires gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg as well, so I can't
install it.

It probably requires upstream work to port clutter and gst. I see a
few new commits upstream, hopefully we can have an update?
