Thanks for clarifying your thoughts. It was not clear that you implied

is conclusive even though the place I am pointing to explicitly states

The log there suggests you have libvdpau-va-gl1 installed. Does the issue go
away if you remove it?

Dear Maintainer,

Whatever video I will try to play, vlc consumes within seconds all 4GB of RAM
and makes the system swap
and eventually freeze, requiring a reboot. This started after upgrading to
debian testing
(vlc 2.2.2-5), and continues even after I upgraded vlc to unstable (vlc
2.2.2-5+b2).

That place seems explicitly _inclonclusive_ about v2.0 of the license.

Dear Maintainer,

When starting mixxx (2.0.0~dfsg-3), it reports this error:

Unable to establish a database connection.
Mixxx requires QT with SQLite support. Please read the
Qt SQL driver documentation for information on how to
  build it.

  Click OK to exit.

Other than that, it's impossible to run Mixxx.

Installing the package libqt4-sql-sqlite fixes the issue, so it looks like a
missing dependency.

(Please let me know if 'grave' is the wrong severity level for missing
dependencies).

Your analysis is correct.
What happened here is that with commit [1] there was an attempt to bump
mixxx to use Qt5, but upstream declared it was too early for production use
and with commit [2] a revert was made but it didn't reset the dependency
for the binary package.

I'm going to fix it asap.

Cheers.

2016-04-12 Thread Mathieu Malaterre
Control: retitle -1 jackd2: Bus error w/ POST_PACKED_STRUCTURE on MIPS CI20
Control: tags -1 - fixed-upstream

As explained here:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=728710#47

The PPC patch should also be included for MIPS.

Thanks
