Looks good, except that for some reason, the ide icon does not display
correctly on my kde system. It displays as a small point in the upper
left corner. Can anyone else see this?

https://people.debian.org/~fsateler/supercollider.png

If I change the desktop file to use supercollider.png, then the
problem goes away. Maybe the svg file has something funky?

I'd say this is relatively minor, so I'm uploading anyway.

Also, if someone with more dep5 skills can take a look at the
following lintian warnings it would be great (AFAICT, the file is ok
by content, only the format may be a bit wrong).

Why does it need a minor version bump? As IOhannes says, the libraries
should have SONAME bumped if they broke compat.

Dear Maintainer,

Please consider linking with OpenVDB, a library that Blender (since 2.77)
can use to cache smoke simulations more efficiently.

Suggested patch attached.

Best regards,
Martin

that's cerstainly the wrong approach.

does 3.7.0 break ABI compatibility?

if so (and the ABI breakage is in libscsynth), then there should be a
soname change and the package renamed to libscsynth1 (or whatever applies)

That's great.

We probably should keep in mind that after the release of supercollider
3.7.0, the supercollider-sc3-plugins source package needs a minor
version bump too, to get its binaries compiled against the new
supercollider-dev package.

I will try to do so once it's time.

Kind regards,

Hanno

Felipe is correct - 3.7.0 is on track, and looking good IMHO.

(Hanno, Felipe, if you can confirm that the recent patches have fixed
the recent FTBFS we had, as far as I'm aware that's all we really need
before upload. Hanno if you can also do check the resulting sclang
actually works in your Sonic Pi setup that'd be helpful.)

Best

csoundqt_0.9.2.1-2_amd64.changes is NEW

2016-05-09 Thread Debian FTP Masters
binary:csoundqt-examples is NEW.

Your package has been put into the NEW queue, which requires manual action
from the ftpteam to process. The upload was otherwise valid (it had a good
OpenPGP signature and file hashes are valid), so please be patient.

Packages are routinely processed through to the archive, and do feel
free to browse the NEW queue[1].

If there is an issue with the upload, you will receive an email from a
member of the ftpteam.

If you have any questions, you may reply to this email.

I think[1] that 3.7.0 is on track, all that is left is some local testing
and then an actual upload. Please test the current version in git and
report success/failure, I will upload soonish (but haven't found time

As Sonic Pi depends on SuperCollider (thanks, great piece of software!),
I wanted to ask if assistance with fixing this is needed.

Is the packaging of supercollider 3.7.0 on track or should 3.6.6 be
fixed, first?

Kind regards,
