FWIW, I see identical errors on armel, armhf, and mips64el, for which
builds were presumably still in progress when I originally filed this
report.

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=armel=0.1.9%2Bdfsg1-1=1510918109=0

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=mips64el=0.1.9%2Bdfsg1-1=1510930991=0

Could you please take a look?

Thanks!

Bug#879075: libopenshot: FTBFS on mips, s390x, and hppa with identical errors

2017-10-18 Thread Aaron M. Ucko
Source: libopenshot
Version: 0.1.8+ds1-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
Justification: fails to build from source
User: debian-m...@lists.debian.org

Builds of libopenshot for mips, s390x, and the non-release
architecture hppa all failed with identical errors in the tests
FFmpegReader_Check_Video_File, ImageWriter_Test_Gif, and
Timeline_Check_Two_Track_Video, as detailed at

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=mips=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508344748=0
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=s390x=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508343103=0
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=libopenshot=hppa=0.1.8%2Bds1-1=1508361036=0

There are a total of 14 individual errors, in all cases of a value
being slightly different from what was expected (sometimes high,
sometimes low), and a bunch of warnings, mostly along the lines of

[swscaler @ 0x69600610] No accelerated colorspace conversion found from
yuv420p to rgba.

The report for line 122 of Timeline_Tests.cpp reports the actual value
as a control character rather than a number, presumably because the
variable being checked has type char (or a variant thereof).

Could you please take a look?

Thanks!
