Well, not yet.

Before it eventually gets uploaded, the following issues should
receive some investigation:

- lintian currently runs havoc on the packages, as does
dpkg-shlibdeps. AFAIUI the cause is mostly SONANE-less .so files in
the avidemux-plugins-* packages. I am not sure how to get rid of these
warnings, maybe we should pass a -X flag to dh_makeshlibs or similar.

- I have not yet checked for obsolete or missing Build-Depends, the
package just somehow compiled on my system. I believe that at least
twolame, vdpau and gettext are somehow missing.

- I have not yet checked debian/copyright, I have not even had a faint
look at it. It most propbably needs some serious review.

- The three frontends are currently not co-installable. This does not
have technical reasons, I just wanted each of them to provide the
/usr/bin/avidemux binary, so I can get away with a single desktop and
icon file in the avidemux-common package. I think it's useless to be
able to install a GTK- and a QT4-frontend alongside, but am open to
suggestions.

- That said, I added Breaks and Replaces like a paranoid. If you think
we could go with less of them, feel free to clean this mess up.

I have fixed a fair bunch of lintian warnings. However, my attempts to
shut it up about the plugin SONAMES always ended up in package breakage.

At least the plugin packages contain file conflicts that I have no
intention to sort out. Since the plugin packages are not
co-installable, why should the corresponding fontends be?

I tried to get this sorted out a bit. It should be safe to upgrade
from what we previously had to the current state without problems (not
sure about d-m.o, though). Please try out and report.
