   [ Michael Schutte ]
   * Convert to 3.0 (quilt) source format.
   * New no_pkgconfig.patch: libsvm.pc has gone away from the libsvm-dev
 package. Change extconfig.rb to set CFLAGS and LDFLAGS manually. This
 fixes the QA FTBFS caused by the 2.90-1 upload of libsvm, closes: #560541.
   * Build-depend on debhelper = 5 because of debian/compat.
   * Bump Standards-Version to 3.8.3, no changes needed.
   * Make the pkg-ruby-extras team the Maintainer; move Rudi Cilibrasi to
 Uploaders (he doesn’t want to work on libsvm-related packages any more);
 add myself to Uploaders.
 .
   [ Paul van Tilburg ]
   * debian/control:
 - Bumped standards version to 3.8.4; no changes needed.

[DRE-maint] Bug#569877: libruby2ruby-ruby1.9: Please drop the dependency on ruby 1.9.0

2010-02-14 Thread Lucas Nussbaum
Package: libruby2ruby-ruby1.9
Version: 1.2.4-2
Severity: serious
User: debian-r...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ruby190transition

Hi,

Ruby 1.9.0 is going away in Squeeze, replaced by Ruby 1.9.1. This
transition is made mandatory by API changes upstream.

Your package currently ships some files in /usr/lib/ruby/1.9.0. This
will no longer work with 1.9.1.

You can either:
- port your package to Ruby 1.9.1
- drop the Ruby 1.9.X binary package

There is more information on http://wiki.debian.org/Ruby191Transition

Thanks

Package: redmine
Version: 0.9.1-1
Severity: important

In cron.d/redmine:

# Import svn commits every 5 minutes
*/5  *   * * * www-data   [ -f /usr/share/redmine/Rakefile ]
X_DEBIAN_SITEID=default /usr/bin/rake -s -f /usr/share/redmine/Rakefile
redmine:fetch_changesets RAILS_ENV=production

Leads to a mail all 5 mins with:

rake aborted!
Permission denied - /etc/redmine/default/session.yml
/usr/share/redmine/Rakefile:10
(See full trace by running task with --trace)

It seems as if it tries to write session.yml!

winvirtdebian:/etc/redmine/default# ls -la session.yml
-rw-r- 1 root www-data 946 12. Feb 11:45 session.yml

chmod g+w the file stops the error, but breaks a lot. :)

Why is session.yml rewritten?

I had no problem with the 0.9svn version of this package.

Severity: normal

Hi Jérémy,

with current rails 2.2.3-2 and redmine 0.9.2-1 we are affected by this
bug: http://www.redmine.org/issues/4376

The problem seems to be fixed in Rails 2.3.x. I'm not sure if this bug
should be assigned to the rails package instead.

Maybe there is a workaround for this?

Regards,
Stefan Jenkner
