Indeed I just rebooted a couple of times since 18.12.2017 different machines and they every time logged these things. Example #1: == [NetDev] Name=int Kind=vlan [VLAN] Id=2567 == Example #2: == [NetDev] Name=mail Kind=macvtap [MACVTAP] Mode=bridge == Example #3: == [NetDev] Name=tunnel Kind=tap [Tap] User=otunnel Group=otunnel == Regards, -- Wolfgang Walter Studentenwerk München Anstalt des öffentlichen Rechts ___ Pkg-systemd-maintainers mailing list Pkg-systemd-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-systemd-maintainers

Bug#886342: systemd-networkd: Unknown section 'Tap'. Ignoring.
Package: systemd Version: 236-2 Problem: since upgrading to 236-1 I get the following error: systemd-networkd:[810]: /etc/systemd/network/tunnel.netdev: :5: Unknown section 'Tap'. Ignoring. The same problem exists with other kinds as VLAN MACVTAP I did not change these .netdev files, and I checked again that the spelling (case wise) of the section name is correct according to the manpage. It seems, by the way, that systemd-nentworkd does NOT ignore these sections, as the interfaces are set up correctly. Especially all vlan interfaces have the Id as given in the "ignored" section. This is the reason I didn't detect this bug earlier. But according to my logfiles I have these messaged logged since upgrading to 236-1.
