After some poking around, I see the domain mindfulcooking.org seems to be hostd on a Linode machine. This implies you've a full Linux install. Considering the blank To:, 191 BCC: field (sure smells spammy) nature of what you're doing I'll now second Rich's suggestion to set up Mailman, establish an email list and send the announcements that way. Have you asked whoever hosts the site for suggestions? You might already be paying for an appropriate service. I personally avoid "free" services (especially Google) as being too expensive.
