Re: something is wrong with scanner on a multifunction printer
If you hardly even use it, that might be the problem. The rubber rollers tend to dry out, especially if they aren't used regularly and that makes them smoth so they won't feed. Try putting from isopropyl alcohol on a q-tip and clean the rollers. That should get it working again if they are a bit dried out. Re: xsane
well I got the xsane issue resolved. It had to do with the viewer/save/copy setting. now how about that printer that won't auto feed? could it be the printer? It is only two years old and I hardly ever scan. Is hp known to only have a two year shelf life? New thread time. Re: xsane
I was thinking it might be the scanner but I tried a different program (simple scan) and that worked great (though I had to put each of the pages I had to scan on the bed ). The scanner is an HP Officejet 4652. On Thu, Oct 26, 2017 at 6:27 PM, Michael wrote: > XSANE is not working. xsane
XSANE is not working. I put a document to scan in and it seems to scan (it begins to receive RGB data) but after it begins to convert image it starts to throw errors out. The first error is: Error during save: Resource temporarily unavailable I click ok and another appears: Error during save: Resource temporarily unavailable I click ok and: Failed to execute printercommand: lp appears. Close is written on the resulting info window and after it is clicked no further errors appear. -- :-)~MIKE~(-: --- PLUG-discuss mailing list - PLUG-discuss@lists.phxlinux.org To subscribe, unsubscribe, or to change your mail settings: http://lists.phxlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/plug-discuss
