yeah there are a lot of good institutes i remeber of

there is concepts in KOTHRUD http://www.conceptssys.com

then also check out www.oasistech.co.in i have just heard about it !
don't know in depth.. but website looks good !

i am not aware of any institute that has a QT or gtk course... infact
even i want to join.

What is preventing you from learning on a PII or PIII
x86 system (if you have one) running GNU/Linux?

1. Start from Programming from the Ground-Up:

free/open source embedded projects.

I thank you a thousand times for the PGU link, and I thank you again.

Now, us non-programmers will get an insight into programming.  Perhaps
somebody will one day write a book about the userland, so that the engineers
/ programmers here can understand what us lay users, Linux enthusiasts and
Freedom lovers want.

No, that was supposed to be a sarcastic comment about LUGs tending to focus
on topics of academic interest to engineers, while neglecting the Cause.
