IIRC, you cannot run IE on anything but a Windows OS environment. I wonder whether one can still get a legit 'trial version' of Windows XP ? If yes, then that would solve your problem at least for now. Later, you can choose to keep a machine running a version of linux on which ies4linux runs well, or run that linux in virtual box (which you could as well do right now :) ). - P ___ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List

You can try Firefox Add-ons like: IE-View: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/ie-view/ This one works ONLY on windows. Uses IE engine for rendering in it's own tab. -Mandar ___ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List
[PLUG] ie on linux options?
After a long time I have landed in a situation where I must deal with an ie-only site - howsoever I hate to. In the past I had used ies4linux for such situation, though it doesn't seem to be work with later versions of wine now. (I have just updated to Fedora 15.) There is one winetricks script, which ended up with some strange exception messages after installing ie. There is one playonlinux, through which ie6 and 7 fail in more or less the same way as above. Any suggestions? Mayuresh. ___ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List
