[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Announce: Moose 0.28
I'm going to download it now. I have one suggestion. It would be nice to see the bitrate (+format) for the current song. -- ezkcdude SB3-Derek Shek TDA1543/CS8412 NOS DAC-MIT Terminator 2 interconnects-Endler Audio 24-step Attenuators (RCA-direct)-Parasound Halo A23 125W/ch amplifier-Speltz anti-cables-DIY 2-ways + Dayton Titanic 10 subwoofer He's not hi-fi, he's my stereo. ezkcdude's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2545 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22509 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: AlienBBC mplayer.sh and Mac
OK merging Byan and my proposals, how about the following at the start of mplayer.sh: Code: app=mplayer if [ -x /usr/local/bin/$app ] ; then app=/usr/local/bin/$app else which $app /dev/null if [ $? -eq 1 ] ; then echo Error - $app Not Found on Path exit fi fi Does this work on OSX? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: AlienBBC mplayer.sh and Mac
I'll check this in the morning. Where would the error message appear if mplayer is not found? On the SB, on a window on the computer, in a shell window? -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22476 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: AlienBBC mplayer.sh and Mac
I managed to find time to check this code before going to bed. On my Mac it worked fine with mplayer either in /usr/local/bin or in /usr/bin. And, of course, I got no sound with mplayer in a silly place. But I think that ideally in that case the error message should appear in several places. First, on the Squeezebox. Second, in slimserver.log if that is possible. And perhaps in other places. The point is that on the Mac we are not running SlimServer from any kind of command line, so the echo message isn't going anywhere useful at present. -- danco danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22476 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Re: Slimremote
Yipeegot it going! Many thanks! Yep: it was partly the port and also a networking prob. Was primarily trying to use on a PDA and it seems that with my combination or router PDA the two would connect when first opened but would then hang. Seems DHCP does not work with my combination of Ipaq with Sandisk Wifi + Belkin wireless router. When I specified a fixed IP ( DNS server for internet) everything works. Then fixed port bingo...!! Great applicationnow just left trying to gather artwork... so add Ipaq 2210 pda as compatable to the list...!! Really SB3 is such a great device - and a large part is down to the cracking applications that so many have written including this one! No i'm gonna eBay my expensive Audiolab CD transport...!
