I meant AAC Plus, by the way. -- whitman whitman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56028 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] aac streams on SC 7.2: where does mplayer go on a mac?
Normally mplayer would be save in /usr/local/bin assuming /usr/local/bin is on the path. However where mplayer should be for AACplus decoding depends on your convert.conf settings for AACplus. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56028 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Is the plugin working with 7.3? Seems like it should (can browse, etc.); but cannot get anything to play. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: NPR Radio plugin
WHen I select a show, say morning edition, and press play all tiems it plays the first story and repeats it. It will fast forward to a new show when prompted, but will repeat that story as well. I have repeat turned off, am I doing something wrong? -- postage22 postage22's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14332 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51002 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: NPR Radio plugin
What version of SC are you using ? I am seeing same behaviour with latest rev of SC 7.2 so it needs investigation although with 7.3 imminent - testing should probably be done with 7.3. All The plugin does is generate a playlist so I am inclined to think it is an SC problem either with a recent change or some strange header info in NPR WMA stream. The problem occurs regardless whether there is native decoding is enabled or disabled. There is something in the NPR WMA stream headers which is not being handled correctly as the WMA stream has a fixed time and SC finds the time - the progress bar is not show as progressing. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51002 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: NPR Radio plugin
This is definitely a SC 7.2 associated problem as plugin works OK in 7.1. I need to check if the SC 7.2 handling of playlist has changed since 7.1 - in case the request is missing something. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51002 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] aac streams on SC 7.2: where does mplayer go on a mac?
Thanks bpa. My hard drive's top level does indeed lead to /usr/local/bin with an mplayer file inside. But that might be a remnant from the old setup. How do I check convert.conf settings? This is sounding familiar - I think I had to do something to these for my previous 6.5.1 setup to get AAC Plus running. But I can't remember. Could you remind me what to do? I'd be grateful. -- whitman whitman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9053 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=56028 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
