Goto SBS Settings/Plugins/Custom Scan/Various Settings and set the Automatic rescan parameter to true 2. In the Custom Tag and Rating Tag configuration make sure the Include in automatic scans and Scan All is checked and make sure it's unchecked for all modules you don't want to include. 3. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Photo Gallery Plugin v1.0
Thanks a lot for this great enhancement. Where do you see the performance problem regarding recursive adding of folders? I found two little issues with gallery: 1. Adding folders adds all files within the folder and does not filter out any non-JPEG files. This makes it impossible to view that collection of files as a slideshow. I had to manually remove in the config file the other files to get a working slideshow 2. The slideshow ignores the setting for random display. I have no idea whether this is a problem of your gallery plugin or the Image Viewer component you are using for display. When using the SB3 it is possible, while playing a song, to look at the details for song and search for Artist, Album, Genre etc by navigating to the right. That would be very handy for spotify as well (avoid typing at all costs). Not sure it it is possible to include the same functionality in that part of the menu hierarchy but a dedicated search menu entry to search for current artist, album, etc would be nice. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)
Is there a chance you could route the player status artwork (for NowPlaying) also through the plugin like for the smaller icons? The reason I'm asking is because the way it is now, the artwork URLs are only accessible within your local network, if you access a server remotely you don't have artwork anymore. OK, maybe a bit of a remote (sic) use case but there were people using their iPhone over cellular to control a Squeezebox from the garden... -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79706 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Photo Gallery Plugin v1.0
Thanks a lot for this great enhancement. Where do you see the performance problem regarding recursive adding of folders? I have thousands of images in hundreds (or thousands) of sub-folders. My server takes 30-40 seconds to just find all the files. That's not the time I'd want to wait for the favorites to be added. 1. Adding folders adds all files within the folder and does not filter out any non-JPEG files. Oops... thanks for the heads up. Expect 1.2.1 to go out today. It's a simple fix. I obviously only tested with a small test folder with only images in it. 2. The slideshow ignores the setting for random display. I have no idea whether this is a problem of your gallery plugin or the Image Viewer component you are using for display. Can't say what's wrong there. Will test this when I find time.
