Do you use SvrPowerControl? I don't know too much about that one, can't

If you turn off the server and your Squeezebox is playing radio it will

I've got the same problem. Just re-entered the MAC address (I thought it
was picking it up automatically now!) and no joy. I also have 'Awake' on
my iPod and that works so I know it's not my system suddenly not
working.

Rest of iPeng is brilliant - couldn't live without it.

I still do not see DENON AVP/AVR Control under player settings. I
upgraded to iPeng 1.2.5.1. which made no difference.

If you have iPeng turning the Denon on and off then the plugin is
installed. If you don't see the Denon AVP/AVR Control under the player
settings its probably because the option to Enable Audio Settings Menus
was not checked during configuration.

To solve this go into the Player Settings on the SBS menu (web) for the
player you are using the plugin with. Select Plugins and then the Denon
AVP/AVR Control. At the very bottom of the features you will see the
option to Enable Audio Settings Menus. Make sure its checked and then
save your settings.

You will have to restart the SBS for the new setting to take effect.

Now under iPeng when you select Player Settings you will see Denon
AVP/AVR Control as an option. Note the menu will be empty unless the
Denon is turned on.

Judging from the comments I'd assume this is the biggest issue for most

When that's finally out we can re-run the poll to really find out how
people feel about the STYLE of the icons.

Hi Pippin,

the power states of the new icons isn't the biggest issue for me, I

Perhaps a skilled poster could update the old style icons to the

when I pass a finger over the ear speaker thing the Ipeng goes blank.
Maybe you have activated the proximity sensor ? I didn't notice it
till I was playing with the self adjusting aspect and can't adjust
volume if the phone is 'upside down'. Workaround is to use the phone
the correct way up I suppose ;-)

Its very minor, just odd, everything else is pretty good at my end
otherwise.

I don't like the player icons and preferred the old ones.

It's a feature :)
And it's only enabled if you set Prevent Standby.
The idea is that you can keep the device active so it's immediately
available when you pick it up (no disabling of screen saver) but you
can save some power by putting it on the table upside down.
It's the only way to turn off the screen when the screen saver is
disabled.

No, that's OK, it's the kind of normalization the network interface
does and I use that to compare addresses.
I'm not 100% sure what issues exactly have been there, I know I did
already fix a few since that release was done (which is now two weeks
ago, it was at Apple's for a long time).
There is now one issue left which one of my beta testers reports and
that I can't reproduce. As soon as I've got that one covered I'll do a
new release, the updated icons are ready now...

Well, there are the icons on MySqueezebox.com which have a high-enough
resolution but one has to make icons out of those.
The icons need to be 40x40 and 80x80 and then you need transparency for
the background and you need a glow or something to indicate the on/off
state and then you need a way to tell it's an on/off button.

I know you prefer the old icons but please be aware that
a) there are dissenting views on that and actually before the 1.2.5
release there was a lot of negativity about the old icons as well.
b) a lot of people did not understand they are a power button.
The current ones probably don't fare too well in the latter respect,
too but the new ones we've prepared here probably will (and they are
_very_ well distinguishable).

From my POV, I would still like to understand how many people prefer
which icons once the on/off issue is gone and then it's really a
broader issue about how to make iPeng skinnable.
