Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Another Database Query SugarCube/MusicIP/Genpuid Question:
I'm going to answer my own question. The MusicIP tags appear to be identical between the 16bit and 24bit versions for the files that I have tested, so I don't think this approach can work. -- Nikhil Nikhil's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91953 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Another Database Query SugarCube/MusicIP/Genpuid Question:
I am going to answer my own question. Copying over the MusicIP tags from 16bit versions of the tracks to the original 24bit versions allow the HD versions to be mixed properly by MusicIP. You do have to remove the tracks from the MusicIP database and rescan it for it to work. I simply deleted my entire MusicIP database and did a fresh scan. Obviously only works if your tags are archived into the files. -- Nikhil Nikhil's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=993 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91953 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Nada? Bumpski. Try to download the binary from http://bugs.slimdevices.com/attachment.cgi?id=7574action=edit - it's unreleased yet, but should work fine. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Another Database Query SugarCube/MusicIP/Genpuid Question:
I've found the same issue with Hi-Res music and MIP. Your information is very useful so I may give it a try. Interestingly though... I fingerprint tracks on a MacBook Pro then copy them over to a headless Linux NAS for streaming. When I copy them over, I scan them into the local (NAS) MIP database. The Hi-Res files that haven't been fingerprinted require validation by the headless MIP and seem to scan into the database OK - i.e. they appear to be mixable. The next version of Custom Browse, planned to be released within the next days, will contain an improvement of the top level so it should be faster if you are using 7.6 or 7.7. I am using Custom Browse 2.13.3730, and while I can say that it appears that Albums, Artists, and everything except Playlists loads faster, my list of playlists still do not load at all in my Multi-Library library. The one thing I did notice is that even though my Squeezebox Server process on my server still spiked to 99.5% total CPU, it did not cause the Squeezebox Server to stop responding (like it did before 2.13.3730). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
The iPlayer plugin stopped working the other day. It seems the player isn't recognising available formats. I'm using version 1.2.5 on the latest server version on a Sparc Readynas. I don't believe I have changed anything between it working and it now being broken. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: BBCiPlayer Plugin (UK only)
For some months now the IPlayer does not work for my Radio. I select Listen Live, and then the station I then get 'fetching track details' on the screen for 10/20 seconds until those words disappear and then I just have the (e.g.) Radio 1 logo but no activity and no sound. After a further few minutes, a long error message starting with 'Error can't open file for Iplayer appears, and then the Radio pauses itself. Any ideas anyone?
