I suggest Logitech fixes this problem and doesn't leave it up to their customers! As stated several times, SBS 7.6.0 works fine, no matter how many files there are or how big or small the free disk size on the partition is, where the cache is stored. [SlimDevices: Plugins] FLAC-Verify - a batch script to verify FLAC checksums
I've got a script that I run as a scheduled task to verify FLAC files using their built-in checksums. The script is derived (well copied and modified) from this one (http://www.neilpopham.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/flac-test.bat) with changes to email the results in case of a failure. I run this weekly via a Windows scheduled task. I thought I'd share it here in case it's useful. It assumes one is using Windows Home Server 2011 (it gets the SMTP details from those given to WHS to use for the WHS alerts). It starts with FLAC-Verify-Task.cmd. Run this with the syntax specified in the file. Task Name is just a friendly name for the task (in case of multiple FLAC folders, etc.). It then logs some details and runs FLAC-Verify.cmd. The email alerting requires a text file with the SMTP server password in it (at C:\ProgramData\FLAC-Verify\FLAC-Verify SMTP Password.txt), assuming th SMTP servr requires authentication. It will log results to C:\ProgramData\FLAC-Verify\FLAC-Verify Log - TaskName.log. The body of the alert email should be in a text file at C:\ProgramData\FLAC-Verify\FLAC-Verify Alert Email Body.txt. There's FLAC-Verify Send Test Alert Email.cmd which can be used to test the alerting. It uses BLAT (http://www.blat.net/) to send the email. +---+ |Filename: FLAC-Verify Send Test Alert Email.cmd.txt| |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=12947| +---+ -- NigelMSB NigelMSB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1302 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93042 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Import is no problem, I can see in the US. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9b2 won't play some shoutcast streams - WHY
First off I am fairly new to squeezebox. I ran across an issue and searched high and low for an answer: My setup is a squeezebox touch and a softqueeze station running 3.9b2 on a V90 Wyse thin client with WinXPe. When I connect both stations to mysqueezebox.com the touch can play all the shoutcast stream with no issues while the softsqueeze plays some and can not play others. One stream in particular is fine on the touch but doesn't work in softsqueeze. Winamp on the same machine plays it just fine. So it is not a network issue. When I synchronize the stations both won't play. I also noticed the softqueeze fails on a lot of shoutcast radio stations while the touch play everything just fine. When I connect both stations to my squeezebox server on my NAS (Synology DS211 runing DSM3.2 and squeezeserver) both clients refuse to play that stream. What makes this stream different from others where everything works fine?? The stream is at 89.238.252.130 on port 8000 with listen.pls at the end. The stream format is audio/aacp with 48 kbps. As a side note my audio station on the NAS also refuses to play this stream. I am confused and really would like to get to the bottom of this. How do I troubleshoot what is going on? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Custom Clock / SuperDateTime Help
phred;684202 Wrote: I'd still like to know what source OffClockSaver SDT Weather Fahrenheit is using for its weather data. And if a Weather Underground Personal Weather Station code is supported. If you look at the configuration of it in Custom Clock Helper, you will be able to see which SDT keywords that are used in the sdttext and stdicon items. In my configuration it looks like it's using %t %v %z %x, you can probably see in your SDT configuration which keywords that represent the PWS you like to refer to, and then just reconfigure the style through Custom Clock Helper. Remember that if you like the style to change immediately you need to make sure the Custom Clock screen saver is active and shown with the style while you are editing the style through Custom Clock Helper settings page in SBS/LMS. The SDT Sports style is configured to show currently active and finished games. Are there any active and/or finished games when you are looking at the screen in Extras/SuperDateTime ? It's possible to change the configuration of the sdtsporttext and sdtsporticon items through Custom Clock Helper if you want them to look differently. Let me know if you think SDT Sport style doesn't work as intended and I'll try to take a look at it in my own setup. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets (both free and commercial)' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Yeah. I installed License Manager early on, and hit refresh and it showed that it had a valid one month license (Already Licensed) several times but no go. I just compared the numbers on your site and my settings menu and they are the same. [SlimDevices: Plugins] how exclude songs from trackstat and lastfm

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9b2 won't play some shoutcast streams - WHY
This stream has some AAC audio format errors. I can play it on SB3, Softsqueeze and Touch but not every time. When I play it using mplayer with debug on - there were lots of AAC format errors in the audio stream. Now it plays OK more often with no errors. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93051 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As helpful as you have been, -this- was groundbreaking!! I now see how the configuration works. I was changing variables in the SDT settings and not in Custom Clock Helper. The weather data displayed is now coming from the Personal Weather Station. Thanks -very- much for that. The SDT Sports style is configured to show currently active and finished games. At this point SDT Sport still does not look/work as I imagined. I'm not saying it's not as you intended. Now that I know how to configure it, I will do so over the next day or two and see if I can get it to display as I imagined. I guess the only pointer I'd need right now is how to get either device to scroll through than one sport. From the look of the config area on your Helper, it can only be one. Again, I'm sure I'm wrong on this and just need a little push in the right direction. Too bad neither Spotify nor MOG are available here... :-/ As if Yello did the same kind of music as Plüsch (for whomever knows them :-)). Just listened to some Plüsch (very difficult to understand for non-Swiss people, I guess :-) and they *definitely* are not similar to Yello. -- HelgeP HelgeP's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=32200 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=79819 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Softsqueeze 3.9b2 won't play some shoutcast streams - WHY
What makes the SBT and your SB3 deal with these format errors while softsqueeze and my NAS choke? FYI, I was never able to get a single beep out of the softsqueeze application with that stream. It gets the stream information, then sometimes the seconds start counting but that's it. More often than not I get a plain error message and the seconds reset to 0:00 Ingo -- ischmitz ischmitz's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=53463 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=93051 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
