Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: YouTube Plugin

Thanks loads Rickbox! With your advice I finally have this plugin
working again.
Just strange thing it keeps trying to play me One Direction tracks
when I'm telling it to play other stuff like Sohn!!! (No!) ;-)

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin

2014-07-04 Thread Aurelius

Hi,

I just registered and searched for an answer to my question (and haven't
found it yet):

If I use the Qobuz plugin on a Squeezebox Duet, do I need to leave my
computer on?
I understand that the plugin cannot be directly loaded into the Duet,
but has to be installed on LMS.
If I turn my computer with LMS off, can I still use Qobuz as a streaming
service?
Your answer is most appreciated.

Thanks,

Aurelius

No you'll need to have LMS running to use the plugin.

You could use a NAS or some sort of small device like a raspberry pi to
run LMS if you don't want to have a PC on.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] IR Blaster and touch

2014-07-04 Thread fcm4711

Hi Antonio

What happens when you use the provided slim.conf file (or the one you've
learned yourself) on your SB Touch? Does that allow the SB Touch to
control your SB3? If not then maybe there is a problem with the IR
emitter (too weak, or too strong). If that works then yes, most likely
something's wrong with the codes or the timing.

And no, the short 0x2024 and long 0x2024 variants are the
same. It's a bit like writing 4711 or 04711.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezefox, a squeezebox server remote control for Firefox OS

2014-07-04 Thread freddyb

Hello, squeezebox users!

I am currently working on a tiny remote control for Firefox OS, called
squeezefox.
For now it only has some basic features such as
* play/pause/next/back, volume up, down, power off
* reading the current playlist
* search and add tracks to the queue
* view favorites

The app is free software and soon to be available on the Firefox
Marketplace (listing page also contains screenshots). The source code is
available on Github and the README file explains how you can install
this on your phone without going through the Marketplace (if you prefer
the bleeding edge).
I am looking forward seeing any kind of feedback, here or as a Github
issue! ;)

Note: I am very new to this forum, so I am not allowed to post links
yet. You will have to use the search features on Github or the Firefox
Marketplace to find squeezefox :( - I will try to edit this post after
I have the required permission.

 hi Erland,
ive been happily using for over a year trackstat (as well as dynamic
playlist and few others) plugins. I noticed that when i wanted to play
favourites (top rated songs not played recently) i always ended up
getting same songs ... didn't really pay too much attention to it, until
i realised that it simply doesn't track any songs being played. only
thing that does work is ratings them selves.
I turned on debug logging and saw messages that for some reason 'Not
 timing file://127.0.0.1:3483/file://data/music ' etc. Installation
was squeezebox server 7.8.1 from community squeeze on fedora 20.
i checked all the settings and thought it had something to do with my
 install.

Hopefully this should be solved in version 3.2.3941 of TrackStat which I
just released.
