I now have a good idea - it looks like a faulty config file. I will work on it tomorrow. Meanwhile, to fix that, you can manually erase the config file in the prefs directory of LMS (c:\programdata\squeezebox\prefs or /var/lib/squeezeboxserver). Can you also post your config file so I see what cause the problem ? LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2. Can you send me the last part of the server log found in "settings", "information", you have link at the bottom named "Logitech Media Server Log File" when clicked it opens the log. Can you go there just after you have a failed attempt to read the "UPnP/DLNA bridge" setting pages and that it has failed. at any rate, I can't get the Settings page for the Squeeze2UPnp plugin to open in LMS. The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. All other issues seem to be okay (Beep acknowledged and corrected the problem with nextURI), except that it skips at least one track ahead when playing, e.g. 1,3,5... or 2,4,6. When you switch between tracks, buffers are erased. But if size is a concern, set a buffer limit at 1600 and you'll be okay then. I recommend that because if you listen to a lot of streams, when shrinking a large buffer, playback might be interrupted a bit as the shrinkage takes a lot of time. That seems to be the problem, the buffer file was now at 980MB when the playback stopped. So this buffer is keeps growing despite the length of the stream to enable seeking. So, in theory, if I set the buffer limit to say, 500MB, I should be able to playback my radios (since the buffer is shrinked at the playback is not interrupted by some operating system error). What happens is that the buffer file stops at the 488MB an doesn't reduce the buffer length. My configuration: 5 -1 I'll reproduce it again and post the logs. I just noticed something odd. Whenever smart mix kicks in, it always returns artists starting with the letter A (ABBA, Amy Winehouse, AC/DC, etc). Are you using any music service or local music only? Can you try to see the server log and tell me if there is a failure logged when you try to open the upnpbridge setting page ? You can also set, in logging parameter the upnpbridge plugin to 'debug' level and then send me as well the server log ? LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2. I haven't tried again with the install fix but that's basically where I got to last night after removing the repo url from additional repositories allowed me to go to the settings page. Either we're both doing something wrong or there's a problem with the Windows install. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] announce: squeeze2upnp, a bridge between LMS and uPNP devices
Not now having the constant updating problem thanks. Still having the problem where trying to open the settings page on both Windows and Ubuntu does not connect and continuously displays "Connecting" in the new tab. Have a player but can't configure it and hence won't play. In Windows can go into the plugin folder and start the executable with -i config.xml, edit config.xml restart and plays fine until stopped. When restarted from plugin reverts to non configured and no settings page available to make correction. ian_heys's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2629 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
