I think I have an idea of what's happening in your case - yet another
UPnP behavior, it seems. First, have you tried yes on the option
 Player handles next track ?

[details]: some players have a gapless feature where there are capable
of memorizing 2 URI to play: the current and next. They automatically
move to the next one when the have finished playing the current, and
then current becomes next. It is up to the controler to keep feeding the
next URI when it detects the change. My app works like that:

 - the app monitors the current URI of the player every 0.5 second and
when it detects the change, it sends next URI information, according to
what LMS has requested - and so on (hence no audio gap, normally)
 - for players that are not capable of storing a next URI, the app waits
to detect that playback of current URI has stopped and then it sends a
nudge to the player, sending a new current URI (hence the audio gap)

Now, all these details appart, what happens with your player is that
there is (toward then end) a track change (with a strange URI) detected
although I've never sent any next URI information (you have disabled
it). As a result, the app is confused. I've done a patch to try this
 hypothesis

Thanks for the explanation above, I haven't installed the above as I
noticed this morning that you have pushed another update out
(v0.2.2.0rc7) and so I installed this. Everything appears to be working
fine now, next tracks play correctly, timing on the bar is now correct,
pause working ok.

I've attached a screen shot of the working settings so this can be added
to your device selection list. The device is a Rocki

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)

2015-05-11 Thread mkkyah

Hi flysurfer,
I have done a clean install of the new version on U3, seems good. But I
have a problem with Youtube and Genesis addons:
--Play a hd stream from youtube or Genesis addons. (search Mother's Day
Apologies Monologue with Reese Witherspoon - SNL on Youtube, choose hd,
it's freezing on all exits with this video)
-- skip a few times 10 min. intervals with up arrow, screen freezes, m2p
is active.
-- Or stop the video, screen freezes, m2p is active.

You can wait 30 sec. to 10min. or restart Kodi from M2P web-ui.

I have checked this with other addons, I think the issue only with this
2 addons by me.

If I use 'chunked' the player seems to thinks it's playing but no audio

If I enable 'Player handles next track' it just skips the next track,
nothing for the next track appears in the display it just totally skips
it.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread

2015-05-11 Thread Ikabob

Immediately after purchasing a subscription to exploringmusic.org I was
able to enter the URL into the ipeng web browser and I could log in and
proceed to listen to programs. Last time I logged in was about a week
ago. Today I went to that web page in the web browser and when I
attempted to log in I found that the log in function did not work. Other
options such as join worked fine but not the log in. I'm using
Classic Ipeng but I tried Ipeng 8 and some thing.
It worked fine about 1 week ago but not today. Any ideas? Thank you.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Rhapsody problem

2015-05-11 Thread pippin

Rhapsody has contracts with their rights holders that require them do do
full end-to-end encryption so that users can't easily record the tracks.
At least that's what was the case when I last spoke yo them and their
recent security updates are in line with that.
Doing a Triode-Spotify like plugin would pretty much disable that
security concept.

Technically it's the same with Spotify but they have always been less
strict by providing libspotify for a lot of platforms, which handles the
decryption.
