Sorry about that. Anyhow, I solved the problem. I had too many layers of
playlists inside playlists. I removed one layer and it worked fine.

You are not going to like the transparent mode where all commands from
LMS are sent, even when the player if not playing. I can be disturbing
for some case where, for example, you are listening to some other
source, you start LMS or start the bridge and volume goes to whatever
LMS has set ... can be inconvenient. In your case, I would rather find a
solution to avoid volume 0 to be sent at the wrong time. But before
going there, what seems strange is that in the log I saw, there was no
command sent by LMS to set the volume to 0 (I'll re-check). How do you
stop the playback in LMS ? (pause, on/off, remove tracks) - these
different options force a different behavior of LMS. I think for pause,
volume is set to 0 but not for stop (with the 'only while playing'
option set)

Thanks - that has helped. It seems that if I need to select Net...DLNA
on the receiver before attempting playback, but that even if I do, if
nothing is sent to the receiver after a few seconds it will switch to an
internet radio channel from my list of favourites. It must have been
this that was "locking" the receiver.

I'm now back to trying to address the volume control issue (i.e. where
the receiver volume level is set to zero when I switch from Net to
another input source). I've tried the LMS Volume Changes "Ignore All
Changes" option, and this seems to fix the problem, but at the expense
of having no control over the volume from the LMS Server. Could you
please explain what the "Transparent forward" option means?

This is a different one. Error 705 means 'Transport is locked', ie the
Onkyo refuses commands. If you google 705 and UPnP, you'll find that
some players like Onkyo have a setup in the menu to enable that lock.
See on I found

Code:

Concering "Transport is locked (Code: 705)"... I need to select NET -> DNLA
manually (e.g. using the Remote or Onkyo App) before using Bubble UPNP. But
then all is working as expected. However, no gapless support.

Sorry I don't have the direct answer because I don't have a Onkyo, but
it must be in some menus

You haven't enabled all the log I asked for.

You need to enable the server.asynchttp to be sure underrun is caused by
timeout and not an LMS issue - if timeout then it is the BBC not
responding.

2015-06-20 Thread sjalloq

It's definitely related to having a chunk list of 5. Every time I get
"merged chunklist now 5 chunks" it underruns. I've been seeing the
following type of warnings today quite a bit so perhaps there are
requests going on in the background that cause a process to timeout.
I've tried to disable mysqueezebox in settings but it obviously is still
running trying to sync. After this underrun, the stream stopped
completely.

still get no playback on the Onkyo. Here's the log:

For all it's faults, the TG582n gives you complete control of incoming

The stream URL for PY's show is
http://download.jazzfm.sharp-stream.com/jazzfm_2015-06-13_1402-1800_PeterYoung_556c49ca4d668.mp3

But as mentioned above they added a time stamp (in hexadecimal) to it to
make it unique.
That makes it difficult to implement it as an opml based playlist as the
time stamps change from show to show and at least once per month the
opml file needs to be re-generated and manually loaded into LMS.
The creation of the opml file can be automated but I don't know if it
can be uploaded into LMS from command line.
Maybe Triode can comment on that?!?

Merged chunklist can happens without errors so it is not defintiive.

To try to get a more info on the type of fault you are experiencing, you
need to enable more logging to INFO the following
server.asynchttp
server.asyncdns

Can you try a USB stick (perhaps not formatted with a Mac).

also set the usb power on the pi to max (add max_usb_current=1 to the

I've installed max2play on a Pi B, it's playing Internet radio through
the IQAudio PiDac but it won't recognise the USB hard drive I attach to
it. I've tried directly powering the USB HDD and by a powered USB hub,
it's formatted to FAT32 on a Mac. It seems to either not have any effect
or brings the Pi to a complete halt dep[ending if I connect it when the
Pi is on or if I connect it and then power the Pi.

I'm also struggling to work out the path for my NAS drive (Goflexhome

can't find it...

Third and last for now:

It appears that Qobuz made a lot of (substantial) changes to their API
about 1 Month ago. There were almost 100 commits. I guess this might
require some major reworking of the Squeezebox Plugin. I have no idea
how long the "old" endpoints will still work.
Apparently the new API (0.2.1) was completely merged into the master
tree?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin

2015-06-20 Thread CommanderROR

@Michael

Can you please look into this?

If I call this:
http://www.qobuz.com/api.json/0.2/playlist/getFeatured?app_id=1&type=last-created&limit=100
I get the Playlists (the new ones that I get in the apps and
webinterface) and if I use this:

http://www.qobuz.com/api.json/0.2/playlist/getPublicPlaylists?app_id=1&type=last-created&limit=100

I get different ones. Just replacing the call in the API.pm doesn't do
the trick sadly, so I can't just try this out myself.

My idea:

Leave the PublicPlaylists call in the main menu and add a submenu to the
genre menu displaying the new "feautred" Playlistst for the
corresponding genre there. I believe that would be a great improvement
for this Plugin!

Thanks.
