Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] New plugin for audio bookmarks
@flo72: Thanks - that is exactly the scenario i wrote this plugin for. Only in my case i am the kid :-) @ChrisNY: Thanks! No, leaving the genre filter empty should not affect the server performance. What could have an effect is the maximum number and the precision of the bookmarks. You can set both values in the settings of the plugin. So if you see an impact on you're servers performance, just reduce the value for Number of albums to remember. The plugin then will automatically drop bookmarks if this threshhold is reached (oldest bookmarks first). On my system (a rather smallish virtual server with 1 cpu core and 1GB memory) i normally have ~100 bookmarks with a 2 seconds precision and i can't notice any additional load at all. sternenjaeger's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57562 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102859 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] New plugin for audio bookmarks
I finally got around to activating this plugin on my server. I add my voice to the others who have expressed their appreciation for writing this plugin. It's so nice to see things continuing to improve on the server through the efforts of individuals with a willingness to contribute their time and skills. I currently do not have any genres assigned - the thinking for me is that I like having the ability to pick up an album where I left off (and to remember which albums I was listening to...). Does anyone have any thoughts on whether this could have negative performance implications for the server? My gut says it shouldn't but there could be more to it than I am aware of. Thanks again - loving the new functionality this adds! -Chris ChrisNY's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5004 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102859 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As indicated earlier, I re-created the JSON import file for the custom clock screensaver I use as the when off saver on my radio. It works with SuperDateTime to show the weather (current conditions, plus rotating display of basic forecasts for the next several days), and has large time display. It's setup for 12HR time + AM/PM, and weather in F. I can't remember how to grab a screen capture from the Radio, or I'd post that as well ;-) +---+ |Filename: OffClock_SDTWeather_Daily_f - radio_20150801.txt | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=18473| +---+ tcutting's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17402 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=68269 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Amazon Prime Music, plugin possible?
I think the fact that it's now free to existing Prime subscribers makes it much more interesting. I suppose one could use a waveinput style plugin to access it on the PC, and then make it available via LMS, possibly? Would be nice to have direct access, though. cdmackay's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=24816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101705 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
