Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
This feels like a dunce question but I'm stuck. I have a Pi 2 and I'm trying to set up max2play/squeeze plug to use my Pi as a rnusic renderer. I've got as far doing the settings but I'm struggling to get the mount point set. I have a Diskstation 214 and my music files are in : Diskstation>music>Folder1. So I input: //IP address:diskstation And then the mount point as; /music/Folder But I received a message saying the mount point /music is incorrect. Where have I gone wrong? iansr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8707 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*
Aholgi wrote: > > p.S.: My Question is: Do I have to do this after every DSM Update? Hi Holger, Thanks for your reply, No, after a DSM update the package will stay. No need to install it all over again. Also after an update of LmsRepack, all settings are kept. The scan issue is only at first install. So a second, third scan or after an update will run normally. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
Thank you Ronnie. Reassuring to know that it is not as straightforward as the instructions imply! The common problem with instructions relating to IT is that the authors invariably assume knowledge on the part of the reader, particularly in relation to terminology. So for example, when it says PATH, does that mean you type PATH, or do you type the name of your folder. The latter it would seem. But then "mount". What does that signify? Well having looked at the earlier posts it would seem you actually type, "mount" ! How are you supposed to know that! Stefan: please do not take offence, as I say this is an all too common problem. iansr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8707 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Squeezeplug and HiFimeDIY Sabre USB DAC ES9023 96kHz/24bit Problems
Hello! I use now a 2A power supply and an USB Hub with external power supply ... still the same. With Internetradio it seems it is not so a big problem. But play a MP3 from USB stick stocks a little bit each 10 seconds. I wondering a little bit, because all Pi 2 B should be the same and with this Audio Output no one can listen. Maybe I should rewrite the sdcard with the latest image? apt-get update I made. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Max2Play Webinterface for Mediaclients (Audioplayer, Squeezeserver, Airplay, XBMC)
well I tried again and seemed to get something right but clearly not everything. This is the message I got: Directory created: /mnt/music mount.nfs: Failed to resolve server //192.168.0.16: Name or service not known Mountpoint NOT added! Please refer to the description below! In the first box I put // IP address:music The help section mentions Synology and indicates they are nfs, so that is what i put in the 3rd box. ?? iansr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=8707 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=101856 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Ian, look back in this thread to here http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?101856-Max2Play-Webinterface-for-Mediaclients-%28Audioplayer-Squeezeserver-Airplay-XBMC%29/page43 Read the next two or so pages carefully, you will see that it is a tale of sorrow and disappointment. No, not really, just a bit of luck and the system does work as when I did a fresh install. Pay careful attention to the first part of post #439. Good luck. Ronnie.
