TPE2 has been correctly interpreted as 2 artists. In the "Artists" listing the album appears under both Derek & The Dominos and Eric Clapton which is my intention. The track is however always shown as being by Derek & The Dominos (TPE1). After a lot of experimenting I have determined that where there are multiple album artists LMS treats the first as the one to display. So J.J Cale & Eric Clapton, Road to Escondido is tagged as Artist "J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton", Album Artist "J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton; J.J. Cale; Eric Clapton". Under Artists listing the album thus appears under all three but always credited to "J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton" iPeng scrolly bit shows - Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton, J.J. Cale, Eric Clapton, J.J. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hm, may be. As I said: what iPeng does is show the track artist first and then all other roles. I believe artists that are duplicates of the track artist should not be shown again, but only if the whole role tag is really identical. As delivered by the server. iPeng never has access to the tags in the files. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I am in the > UK.. Listen Again with iPlayerExtra plugin uses Flash / RTMP. Listen Again from the BBCiPlayer plugin uses HLS. So if you are having problem with two different protocols -it looks like a "local" issue which makes it harder to find becasue you'll have to do the legwork. Do iPlayer plugin live HLS streams play OK ? When testing also include playing a program from Browser (set up for Flash not HTML5) just as a sanity check. To see why the streams are stopping you'll need to enable some logging. Initially plugin logging but later it'll probably require a few other modules to be logged to be more definitive. For Extra playback enable plugin.bbciplayer.rtmp ot Info. For iPlayerplugin enable plugin.bbciplayer.hls to Info. Usual procedure. Note time. Try playing a stream. Wait about 30 secs after fault has happened and note time again. Copy log message between start and stop time into text file, zip and attach to a post. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104638 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I have looked at the database tables. The 3 names are listed in contributors as you would expect. In contributors_albums the 3 are shown against the album ID - one with role 6 and two with role 5. The same is true for contrubutors_tracks with the same role allocation. In tracks the primary_artist is the ID for J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton which is the role 6 in the two contrubutors_ tables I take it iPeng doesn't do any SQL lookups but uses CLI for this sort of stuff? *Vortexbox LMS 7.8 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer oddity
I have various problems with BBC iPlayer Listen Again streams cutting out (stopping completely, not just rebuffering) that I am fairly sure are due to problems at my ISP. However, a new issue has come up in the last couple of days, using iPlayer Extra Listen Again. The stream will suddenly stop producing sound, and the Now Playing display will recycle the time. That is the time remaining will show (say) 20 minutes 45 seconds, count down to 20 minutes 40 seconds and then go back to 20.45 and again. What's happening here, and can I do anything about it? I've found Listen Again hopelessly unreliable since the BBC change in February (was that when it was), with programs just stopping in the middle, but that does seem to be my ISP not coping with the repeated change in URL that I gather the new chunking method uses.
