Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
OK here is my problem. If I click on "Schumann: Frauenliebe und -leben; Brahms: 8 Songs Op. 57 (2008)" it lists as artists Johannes Brahms, Lorraine Hunt Lieberson, Julius Drake [if I click on artist infromation. biography I get Lorraine Hunt Lieberson If I click on Julius Drake I get a list of albums. If I click on any of those albuns I get a list of artists for example if I click on Britten: Canticles I get a list of artists. If I click on artisit information I get a biography of Benjamin Btritten. The only way I seem to get to artist information for Julius Drake is if I find him somewhare under related artists then if I click on him there I get the biography etc for him. If I click on a particular artist, would it be possible to get that artist's info as an option along with the various artists. Would I be right in thinking that only the album artist ever comes up for artist information? I am using a pretty recent LMS 7.9 running on a QNAP NAS. adamdea's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=37603 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Yeah! mmserver is starting before LMS. and also with some values it does not work i am out of ideas, what i can do - only possibilitiy i see, is, to setup my server with older server-software as a test (OpenMediaVault 2.1 / Debian wheezy (32bit) instead of OpenMediaVault 3.0 / Debian jessie (64bit)). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Spicefly SugarCube] MusicIP can be ondifferent server?
You are 100% correct. Spicefly Sugarcube even has a feature to allow you to translate the path your music is found at (Dynamic Path Conversion). Example: - LMS is running on your NAS - Music is on your NAS - LMS sees your music on e.g. /mnt/music/ - MusicIP server is running on a PC - MusicIP sees your music at \\NAS\Music - Enable Dynamic Path Conversion - In "DPC (LMS) - Set #1" enter /mnt/music/ - In "DPC (MusicIP) - Set #1" enter \\NAS\Music Two sets are available, making sure that LMS knows where to find the song MusicIP tells it to play next. The server will only show one in the normal menu hierarchy if you put both into the "My Apps" menu, you have to put one into "Radios". There's a discussion about it in the thread about the re-launched Logitech Spotify plugin. The old iPeng version retrieved an "unofficial" version of the "My Apps" menu by requesting that menu when you open it which shows both, I believe. You can create the Genpuid and store the analysis in the music tags with the Windows version of Music IP mixer. On my OMV Debian NAS I set up a windows vm, copied my music over and set it to work. MusicIp headless reads the music as mixable and I don't need to worry about losing the db. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Smart Mix plugin
Just thought I'd say that Spotify artist radio may do the trick for me. I'll likely need to start it I multiple times a day to get more variety, plus it lacks some of the surprise that recommended music could pull out as it leaves me to pick the starting artist. Would be nice if I could mix multiple artists to get more variety. Maybe it's possible. Probably belongs in the Spotify plugin discussion. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP - analyse on one computer, serve on different?
What you can do: You can analyse the tracks and write it to the track-metadata (id3tag). This you can do on your notebook. After that LMS with MusicIP-Plugin can read and import this metadata. So, you don't have to do the analysis at the same machine. But critical point: when LMS is working with a non-x86-CPU/-Server - id don't work and analysis is nearly worthless OleHB's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=35873 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105722 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] [Spicefly SugarCube] MusicIP can be on different server?
Hi Just to confirm: If I use the Spicefly SugarCube plugin for MusicIP, the MusicIP server (headless) can be on a different computer - but when I use the LMS MusicIP, it has to be on the same - is this correct? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spicefly SugarCube for Android
For me the songs and playlist also don't get copied. (Sony Xperia z5 compact, Android 6.0.1, SD card present). Connection is OK, and playlist does get generated, but the file copy process is over in a few seconds. Seems almost a permission problem, because why would the playlist (m3u?) also be missing? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicIP filters in headless mode
Hi, I'm in the same boat: running MIP headless on Ubuntu 12.04, so I -am- able to run Wine to create filters and edit the default.m3lib, but even in this case I get the "0 songs" message in the webinterface & a non-responsive "Reload Cache" button. @SlimChances - so, you're saying you can edit the .m3lib (create filters) in Wine and write them to cache in the Headless version? Then, I'm doing something wrong... Fortunately the first tests with MIP and Spicefly in LMS are pretty promising, so that helps coping with the loss of SmartMix! 1x Squeezebox Classic / 2x Squeezebox Radio / LMS 7.9.0 - 1454098279 on HP Proliant N54L with Ubuntu 12.04 LTS / OrangeSqueeze http://www.last.fm/user/rndr rlem's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=46931 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105707 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
The application (a heavily modified squeelite base) is querying LMS to gather track info and this is the error you see. It means one way or the other that LMS does not get the info, so this the reason of the error That error would be shown if there was no known client object in LMS for this player. Could it be there is some confusion about MAC addresses again? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
