Yea, actually I plan to do something like that in place of the lyrics screen but it's a bit of work and doesn't really solve the conflict of what people want to see on the main NowPlaying screen with the controls (and which is always visible) --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I just got an idea that maybe could satisfy all those that ask for certain views. Would it be possible to add a new custom screen (like nowplaying, lyrics, playlist and custom) where users can add (custom) tags to show in a fixed template? That way a user could add bit rate, bit depth, dr range, album dr range, etc. I have got no clue about the amount of work or the possibilities but I think it would be a nice to have. I started with your link (many thanks for providing it!) : http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?69986-SSODS-4-released=784918=1#post784918 Made the changes, and then followed some of the instructions on this link: https://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=123=111583=logitech+media+server The update worked fine, but updating bash ( I was still using 4.0.0) didnt go, because the download link didn't work. But then I found this post: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103492-Shellshock-vulnerability-exposedby-SSOxS=818517=1#post818517 And there was a link to the new bash file, and instructions on how to install it. Now I am running 7.9.0 (latest build) and I've patched SSOTS. Greetings, Gerrelt. If you use the remote control on the site and you use the volume buttons in those controls, the app will show the mute button. Just set the volume using the mysb remote to 0 or 100 and the volume button in the app will return to normal. As long as you don't use the volume buttons on the mysb controls, the buttons in the app will work normally. -- Squeezebox apps for webOS, Android and Windows Phone, http://www.angrygoatapps.com wt0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18760 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Try restarting your server. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify playlists very slow to load
I am running LMS 7.9.0~1455395156 on Ubuntu with the Spotify Protocol Handler plugin and Triode Spotify plugin (version 2.3.9). It's been Don't use the SPH if you're using Triode's plugin. It's redundant in that case and wouldn't even initialize. I've also tried switching off Triode's plugin and using the Logitech plugin with the SPH and then I get an error about mysqueezebox.com not being setup, although I have entered my mysqueezebox.com username/password. Did you configure Spotify on mysqueezebox.com? You have to do this on the web site. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Auto Dim Display no longer working
Not sure if this can be of any help - according to the xml file it looks like I have version 2.1.10 installed on an old Windows 2003 server. I recently replaced this Windows server with a Thecus NAS 5810 and now I'm trying to install LMS. I found the plugin in ../cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins - here it is residing in its own folder called AutoDisplay. Then there is the prefs file called autodisplay.prefs that is residing in ../prefs/plugin. Simply copying the folder and prefs file works as long as the LMS service is not restarted. If that happens, the plugin doesn't show in player settings. Anyone out there that knows what to do with it to make it part of a repository again? Thanks - Will LMS 7.7.2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Annouce: Squeeze Control is now available as a UWP app for Windows 10.
One thing: volume control doesn't appear to work. It's a reddish color now, which seems to be the "mute" position, but sound is not muted. Clicking on it produces briefly (as in, the duration of the click) a second speaker icon that looks like could be used to raise and lower volume, but it's not on screen long enough to do anything. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotify playlists very slow to load
Hi there, I am running LMS 7.9.0~1455395156 on Ubuntu with the Spotify Protocol Handler plugin and Triode Spotify plugin (version 2.3.9). It's been working fine for a while. However, a few weeks ago the playlists did not seem to load. After a bit of poking around I found that if you waited a couple of minutes, the playlists did eventually load although if you select to play them it doesn't seem to do anything. The Spotify connection is not broken in general because I can play Spotify radio stations. Here's a snippet from in /var/log/squeezeboxserver/spotifyd.log: [12:03:13.806074] main:619 req: playlists.json res: (null) par: (null) prot: HTTP/1.0 auth: (null) [12:03:13.806191] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [12:03:14.807521] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [12:03:15.808949] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [12:03:16.280675] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [12:03:17.282045] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user [12:03:17.676830] process_playlists:1155 process playlists: user ... I'd quite like to know a bit more about what the Spotify plugin is doing - I presume it's calling a web-services endpoint somewhere and then it's either not getting a timely response or it does get a timely response but does the wrong thing with it. Can I switch on more logging to see? I found that when I unchecked "disable cache" in the SPH settings, the error went away (and a load of cacheing info turned up in the log). Still no luck playing music though.
