Happy to say that I was able to get everything installed today without
any issues and successfully paused and resumed play using voice commands

some additional testing and helping further the development of this

The problem is that sph will not install. Not from the plugins page and
it does not show up on the Advanced tab. I am at a loss because it works
fine with piCorePlayer and Max2play.

Sorry for the slightly off-topic post. I am a new Synology owner

Handler will not install. I have gone through Synology's official LMS

Downloads is not a great measure as often users do regular re-installs.

Go to sourceforge URL for my files in the FIles tab and click on the
tiny graph besides the downloads/week number.

Sourceforge keeps stats - daily basis for each file, by country and by
OS for example
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bpaplugins/files/BBCiPlayer-V1_5_4c.ZIP/stats/timeline

The stats are interesting for example - this shows there was 4 downloads
of 1.5.2 recently - but since that version has an on-demand issues - it
is possible that is one user re-installing hoping problem will be
fixed.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bpaplugins/files/BBCiPlayer-V1_5_2.ZIP/stats/timeline

I also know when Iput up a personal URL to verify downloads of a new
version of plugin is working for different version of LMS - there is one
UK user who downloads these personal test version of the plugin before I
know the plugin is "safe" - one of these days they may get a surprise !

1.5.4 also has an additional item in the More menu - "Segment Times" -

Catchup of only 7 days is available through BBCiPlayer plugin.

Until BBC announces new replacement API it is unlikley that catchup will
be comparable with 30 days on iPlayer. BBC promised the new API in 2015
- it is there just BBC won't let public use it, just commercial services
and aggregators.

Both 1.4.9 and 1.5.2 were updated to 1.4.10 and 1.5.3 respectively to
deal with an On-demand change

BBC was running a test Flac stream (ended 2 May) but will run Test Flac
stream for Proms. V1.5.4 implements Flac support but is likely to be
updated once Proms stream becomes available.

I suggest install 1.5.4 using this repo URL.
