Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Any up-to-date Android apps?
I use Orange Squeeze and SqueezeCtl on both my phone and tablet. Updates are not always good. SquezeCtl had a very nice now playing screen in the previous version. Looked great on the tablet. After the latest upgrade this screen is now been altered and is too busy. Should have left it alone. On the phone Orange Squeeze for around the house. For the Raspberry in the car, since it creates it own network, I use SqueezeCtl. Using the two apps I can leave them configured for the different networks. -- Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1498799744 @ Fri Jun 30 05:45:05 UTC 2017 OS: Debian - EN - utf8 Platform: i686-linux Perl Version: 5.24.1 - i686-linux-gnu-thread-multi-64int Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1) Total Players Recognized: 4 Squeezebox3: Firmware: 137 Duet: (2 receivers, 1 controller) Firmware: 77 Boom Firmware: 57 -- teeitup's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14402 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107665 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Your best option at this point is to run LMS on another system, and use a network mount. The Raspberry pi3 is a nice low power solution, and can handle lms nicely. The LMS install on piCorePlayer works with spotty nicely. paul-'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=58858 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107615 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The binaural streams and local FLAC files play fine. I meant that the binaural surround effect doesn't work well for me, I can hardly hear it. Distracting sounds aren't the issue, if they were at I'd least I'd know it was working! Maybe it's because I don't use headphones or earphones much. In stereo it all sounds inside my head, which is weird because that is never how music is in real life. So I listen with speakers almost exclusively, and I'm a big fan of quadraphonic recordings. BBC are also running another Taster - Binaural sound - AAC but a different microphone mix supposed to be like at a concert. For some Proms there is a live Binaural stream. Next one is July 18. I hope to have an update to plugin with the stream in the menu. There are number of binaural clips available from current and previous proms but they have a "life" of about 3 weeks. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/2913JxRtQl3ZTvw0wz5C4D1/bbc-proms-in-binaural-sound If you have BBCiPlayerExtra install then you can edit the Extra default.opml file and add the following after "" and then save.
