Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Radio Paradise Lossless Streaming (Plugin v2)
Unfortunately I tried to put it on today and I got “ can’t connect to server for “ although the artwork shows. Likely a temporary issue on RP's end. It has happened before. RP is always good for a surprise. They sometimes play music from an artist from the city of Berne, where I had lived for a while. You could hardly hear him on Swiss radio stations. But RP does play him (Mich Gerber). And today, as I am investigating the issue you reported, metadata was returned for a German band, singing in German (2raumwohnung). That station is just amazing. Hopefully it'll be back soon. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
Hi, It's been now a week that i use this great plugins on my rasp with LMS. Connect works great but i have some strange beahavior. Sometimes, in the middle of a song, it skip it and play the next song, without any interaction. And sometimes, it plays the end of this skipped song. Does anyone encounter this ? Is there something that i can look at to identify origin of this issue ? eliohann's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=57524 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108030 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

As probably others already have written and to confirm what you have discovered: To create a playlist within the Qobuz environment you can only do that via one of the official Qobuz apps on PC, phone or tablet. The Qobuz LMS plugin can only read/use playlist from your Qobuz account but cannot create or change them. I believe Michael Herger (mherger) took upon him the task to keep the Qobuz plugin working but has no time to extend the functionality. Switching to the Qobuz app to create a playlist is not optimal but also not a real showstopper. After creating/alterring a playlist the LMS plugin sees that alsmost instantanously. >From contact with Qobuz I learned that they currently put a lot of effort in Chromecast as they see it, from their perspective, as the best way to stream to a hifi system (stream to a Chromecast Video and notice that also coverart and playlist are shown on your TV screen). I will not be surprised when at some point in the near future they deprecate the interface that the LMS plugin uses and close altogether the current interface/api in favor of chromecast. How things are presented in the LMS plugin already deviates quite from Qobuz own app. Huib does the all-black SB sound better than the white SB? hsmeets's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9716 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108309 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz - how to stream to Hifi
Thanks, really helpful. I installed Playlist Manager and followed your suggestion. Looks like this gives me the option to create playlists and add tracks to them. However they do not appear from within the Qobuz plugin. This means I would need to; A) listen to music in Qobuz B) save tracks I like to a playlist as you describe C) need to go to another player (ie Squeezeserve) to play those playlists Seems what is needed is for playlist management to be implemented in the Qobuz plugin which I dont believe it is (yet ??). In the meantime I have coughed up for a Sublime subscription and will look into options like Chromecast and use of Qobuz web app rather than the plugin (which was nice as both Qobuz streaming and access to my stored music library is all under one roof. liffy99's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7832 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108309 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
However, she has noticed that if she plays her playlists via "shuffle albums" she always gets the same album order. Album shuffle for remote streams is explicitly disabled in the shuffling code: https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/blob/public/7.9/Slim/Player/Playlist.pm#L810 So this is not Spotty specific, but does apply to any remote streaming service. The algorithm relies on an album ID - which we can't rely on having in remote streams. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
