There is nothing obvious in the log. Are there any of the logging options that I should increase from Error to say Info? try playing some songs that won't play. Then go to LMS webGUI > Settings > Information, scroll down and click on the "logitech Media Server log file". You may see some errors there. *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.4) > LMS 7.9.1 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio (all ethernet) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.4) > LMS 7.9.1 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win8(64) > LMS 7.9.1 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Transporter, Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win10(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108411 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Some albums play and some don't....
Grateful for some advice here... over the last week or so I have been unable to play some albums on some of my 'endpoints' (mostly PiCorePlayer and squeezelite on PCs) but they do play on some of the other endpoints. And the endpoints that don't play some albums do play other albums. The web-interface for LMS looks as if they are playing even when no sound comes out. The albums that don't work are standard aac or flc 44.1kHz/16bit. The BBC iPlayer and Spotty plugins work perfectly. So its all a bit random. The only thing that does seem consistent is that whole albums are affected and, if they are, it's consistent for a given endpoint. i.e. it doesn't change track by track and if an album does or doesn't play it will behave the same on that endpoint again. I'm not expecting an accurate diagnosis considering the symptoms are so vague but I would be grateful for some advice on what logging events I should set up to narrow down what might be the problem. I'm running LMS 7.9.1 on a Vortexbox 2.4 OS. kingswindsor's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=61926 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108411 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi Than, Yes, unfortunately it is as I suspected - still no Pioneer streamer that supports gapless under standard UPnP/DLNA, only proprietary gapless support within the device's firmware (so the device owns the playlist & it therefore gathers the files from UPnP server under its own command) :( The foo_out_upnp plugin's built-in UPnP controller (which is not visible to the user, unlike the foo_upnp one), does precisely what Philippe suggested some controllers do to implement gapless: it uses the foobar2000 itself to gaplessly play the files and then get the Pioneer to stream foobar2000's output as a single 'track' / continuous lpcm stream (can be configured to be either contained in a wav file or raw lpcm). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty v1.9.0 - now with experimental Spotify Connect support!
I sometimes see an issue where Spotify Connect is playing to a Radio and the Spotify app on my phone will forget it is playing to the Radio and display "devices available". Meanwhile the Radio continues to play. If then reselect the Radio the play bar does not move and the play icon is displayed. Checking in to say a huge thank you to the incredible work and I am sure the hard work you put into this. THIS! This is better than dulce di leche. This is better than sinking your holy butt into a hot spring in the middle of beauty. Simply put, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I appreciate what you have done for my digital life with this. Double it up with a lot of people getting rid of their squeezedevices after Logitech ditched spotify support.. The joy The devil is in the details, and so is perfection! Have a nice christmas and or new year, whichever you celebrate the most.
