it doesn’t say much in the logfile! Except that PlaylistMan can't be loaded, and a ton of what I would assume are networking related issues. Are you using any kind of 3rd party firewall software? Also make sure your Spotify application is configured to be using the same account as you've configured in Spotty. Hi I use Orange Squeeze version 2.3.2 with LMSV7.3 (I think) and I have found that orange squeeze repeats the same song over and over again not moving forward through the playlist. I normally select music to play from the Album or Artists top level menu with a long press then select play from the pop up list. I think this should play all songs from this album or artist. but even if the play list says 1 of 11 after selecting play from the Album menu, song 1 is repeated continuously. can you help with this? Hi, When I change track (via iPeng) the track plays for a few seconds (10-20) then pauses for 1-2 seconds then starts again. Found a cheap Android 7 tablet and couldn't resist. Now running Orange Squeeze. I have a few questions maybe bugs: - I found the option to choose a list as default or columns. To my surprise Favorites and all Spotty content always shows as list even if columns is chosen - Press and hold on the artwork in now playing results in a popup list. In landscape mode this list jumps from top to bottom if scrolled. In portrait mode the popup list sticks to it's original place I like Orange Squeezer! I am used to Ipeng on iPhone. Dear Michael, I'm a big fan of Spotty. I'm running it on an Odroid XU4 running Debian 7 and LMS 7.8. Today I upgraded to Spotty 2.3 and unfortunately Spotty can no longer login into my Spotify account. I can see 'Spotify Authorization' under 'Devices Available' in Spotify on my Win10 laptop but nothing happens when I click it and it does not help to manually put in my username and password. If I install Triodes Spotify plugin for LMS I can playback from Spotify, but I much prefer your plugin. Hi Michael, I have used Spotty for a long time, and it works great in the periods when there are no updates. But when an update is present Spotty seems to crash (usually the LMS is also in new version also at the same time). All of the "connect to the device" is empty and I have to upgrade LMS first, then restart the LMS a second time for upgrading Spotty. Are there any watchdogs for Ubuntu or any tips regarding such issue? I can provide a debuglog if you need, but please instruct where to find it :) Regards. I was confused since I got some song info from the default screens, which did not update correct (another story). I have re-installed this box many times when supporting the development of an "official" LMS packet for Qnap, QLMS. You could set plugin.spotty to INFO in Settings/Advanced/Logging, then try again. This would give us more information. What I see from your log file so far is that it fails to receive a token it needs to access the web services. That's why you would get empty menus. So I moved to scraping the web page - which is prone to errors, fails whenever the page structure changes. I don't see any useful hints there. You only use ip3 devices, no Boom/Touch, no software player? Would you see these issues with all players? Now that I have been enjoying the music, I have one question. For all of the time I have been using Spotty, once in a very seldom while, I experience that playback stops when one number ends and the next one should start. The SB3 shows that the previous tune is playing with 0 seconds remaing, the webinterface shows the same, but playback doesn't carry on with the next tune. I can allways fix it by pushing forward on the remote. This is a very seldomly seen error, but I did experience it today after upgrading to Spotty 2.3.0. Music can play for hours, and then suddenly stop. It only resumes when I intervene. Any ideas what could be the cause? My setup is the latest LMS 7.9.1 inside a docker image on a Rockstor based NAS.
