Also after adding two albums to the playlist my Touch shows the first
track on the display even thought it is not playing. I have to start
playing the track then pause it for the display to turn off (stopped

enabled announcing, restartet LMS service, but still not visible to

Once i start the computer or try to access Spotty on my Squeezebox a
command window opes and then I get the message that spotty.exe does not
work anymore.


Please check server.log for more information about the failure.

I don't run LMS in docker but directly on a Ubuntu Server, squeezelite
is a RPI in the same physical/logical network as LMS and my mobile,..


My comment wasn't about Docker, but about local announcement not being 
available. If that's the case, then you'd only see the device which is 
configured to run under your account, but not the other. In your case I 
see from the log that they don't run using the same account.

The plugin does not change the sync algorithm, but it does
create/teardown LMS synchronized player sets on the fly. So yes, the
players involved are in sync, assuming that you don't have sync issue
with LMS in general. When you "manually" create the sync set using the
WebUI or any controller, if that set works, it should work as well as a
Group Player

between very difficult and totally impossible to keep a mixture of hard-
and Software players in sync.
You could try syncing two Players for a start without the Plugin
grouping them together and add some more until the syncing breaks.

The last line in the server.log from your first post indicate some issue
with the IP address on the LMS-server:
[18-05-19 09:36:13.8314] Slim::Plugin::CLI::Plugin::cli_socket_accept
(250) Access to CLI is restricted to the local network or localhost:
169.254.148.151

This is unrelated to the UPnPBridge plugin, but may be due to:
1) the LMS server software starts before the network configuration in
the Windows operating system is finished => LMS uses a 'link local'
address as fall back. Will be fixed if you restart LMS software awhile
after power-up.
2) the Windows server fails to get an IP adress through
mis-configuration: specify DHCP or configure network settings manually
on the Windows server.

No 1 above is quite common I think.

Thanks for the tip Ralphy! 
But LMS (or SBS) already has an awesome web interface I use anywho for
the other five S-devices I have around. The Squeezlite has a minimal
footprint of less than 7kB and while I listen to random albums only I
hardly ever need the web gui, and when I do I use the Squeeze Ctrl
Android app.

In such a setup squeezelite is awesome.

Hi, 
I am using Win 10 and LMS 7.9.1 with spotty 2.3.5
I just nioticed that spotty does not work any more.
Once i start the computer or try to access Spotty on my Squeezebox a
command window opes and then I get the message that spotty.exe does not
work anymore.

Any idea what that could be? Worked flawless until recently.

Today it annoyed me that the squeezelite (tested with 1.9) command
window is visible. Did a bit of encosia-ing (googling for tree huggers)
and found a way to start a powershell script hidden. Adding this as a
task to the Task Scheduler upon logon and I have have player that can be
operated from the server site. 

Unpack squeezelite in the C:\ProgramData folder. 

This is the squeezelite.ps1 PowerShell Script:

put it anywhere you want, my scripts are stored in a folder

Is group player plugin supposed to keep involved players in sync?
Running SB2 (wired) , radio, boom box, 2x pcp (wired) , 1x squeeze
control player. All on a rp3 wired with only pcp/lms

Hi!

So this has always been like this: the radio does have a normal IP
(192.168.1.13), assigned by DHCP. For some reason the player as seen my
LMS has the self-assigned 169.x. I always assumed this has some trick
that you were doing. This used to work, but maybe now there is some
issue indeed. 

Do you have any idea what I could check?

When you transfer playback (with Spotify app or with the the "transfer
playback" functionality from spotty) the song always start at begining
instead at the current time position. Once the song has started to play
on the squeezebox there's no problem with seeking functionality with the
seek bar of spotify or the seek bar from the squeezebox
