Spotty does not download them, thus this limitation should not apply here. Spotty does have a preference to only show "your" albums under an artist, though. Eg. if you only like one of Frank Zappa's gazillion of albums, you can do that. But not on the track level. One minor issue I am seeing: When I drill down into an album view, the header shows the number of tracks in the album as well as what I presume should be the total length: # Tracks (#:#). However, the length displays that of track 1 in the album, rather than the total album length. The "Defeat Touch to play" setting is only relevant for Squeezebox Radios and Touches and exists to prevent someone accidentally obliterating their playlist which was all too easy to do. The same functions are available in the Material Skin so no need to implement it. I have "Defeat touch to play" in player settings of LMS set to "always ask" whether to play now, play next, add to end of playlist or play all songs. I don't mind that Material Skin does not obey this setting but I see that a new feature is to play an album starting from the chosen song. This choice only seems to be available from the second track onwards. It would be nice of this choice was also available for the first track of an album since once I am in the track list the only way to play the full album is to back out to the alb list and play it from there. Much appreciated. Yes, I am aware of this. It only happens with the legacy version when the server is password protected. It does not happen with the MS Store or Appx version. Not sure why, but I recall once I had a "Ping" function that would not work unless in the Store/Appx version so this may be similar. I spent half a day trying to solve this, but so far have not been able to. The next thing I want to try will take several days, so I decided to go ahead and upload 2.0 anyway and fix it after. It's just another case where the the feed the BBCiPlayer plugin has an error from the BBC end. These are often resolved by BBC within a couple of days - not so in this case. The plugin is playing the URL which BBC has identified as the program - both HLS and DASH (2 different URLS but same PID) have 404 errors. Extra plugins uses a different feed which seems othave the correct PID. The scripts can be modified for the new long lived token if needed. But
first:
- what version of HA are you using and
- is your LMS flavour secure (you need to login) or unsecure (it just
works).
If you want a copy of a working shell script, let me know as this is
still a work in progress. I am having issues getting dialogflow to work
with HA and long lived tokens. I am getting error 206 (Malformed
response) from Google actions (dialogflow). Voice commands work, but
dialogflow isn't happy with the response from HA and as a result stops
responding.

I've just noticed that it is possible to run Bluetooth LE device scanning while Raspberry Pi is connected to and even playing to a Bluetooth speaker. in pCP can run hcitool lescan (don't use "hcitool scan" while playing as it music breaks up) Wondering about how to use this ... e.g. player in kitchen is started automatically with specified Favourite or Playlist (with matching between Bluetooth device and Person and Person to Favourite/Playlist) if not already playing (perhaps also not "off") and time is between 06:30 and 22:00 I expect that this could be done fairly easily by using HASS and Room Detection but doing it without having to install full home automation could be fun ...
