left channel wrote: > How about when SLX is set to Material? I've had the Web Interface set to > Material and SLX set to Material for months without problems. That will work fine because in that case SLX will expect and get Material Skin. But if you set SLX to Default and LMS to Material, SLX will expect Default and get Material. When in this condition, SLX will not crop the browser window correctly and SLX will not interact under the covers with the browser window when reading/writing the player ID that is selected in the browser. It would also incorrectly allow you to open the mini-browser associated with the default skin and I'm pretty sure that would fail. Now that I know about this, I know need to handle it. It may be as simple as coding SLX to specify full URL of the default skin when the Default skin is selected in SLX, such that the LMS settings is effectively a "don't care", for SLX. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
I'm sorry if this has been asked and answered before but I couldn't see that it had. When I turn on a new BBC stream the display shows the current music or programme being played. However it doesn't update itself when the music or programme changes. (I'm sure it used to). It does update if I stop the stream and start again. It's not specific to one end-point. It happens on my PC web-interface and PcP too. I'm running BBCiplayer v1.62 and Extra v2.2. It has been like this for a while and I've lived with it but it would be nice to resolve. By the way, thanks for a great piece of software. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC iPlayer rebuffering
Please upgrade to 1.6.3 as 1.6.0 is quite old (Sept 2017) - 1.6.3 is the latest - there have been a number of bug fixes and BBC changed some URLs and tweaked some of their streaming protocols. Does the problem happen with Live or on Demand or both ? What format are you streaming ? HLS or DASH - if you don't know what is the bitrate and codec shown for the problem station/program ? What player are you using ? What menu sequence (e.g. Radio->BBCiPlayer->Listen Live->Radio 4) are you using to play the stream ? Have you tried the "Alt CDN" menu to see if the problem is CDN specific ? Setting such as: LIve Stream Preference On Demand Stream Preference Bit rate for lIve stream DASH Bit rate for On Demand DASH Seconds to delay start live stream Buffer fullnes threshold Unless LMS proxying has been enabled for the player, MP3 stream go straight to player so BBCiPlayer or LMS do not go near the stream. For UK listeners MP3 stream tend to be lower quality than HLS or DASH. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110244 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Actually, I would not expect to find an "L'" pocket at all. That's what ARTISTSORT is for, after all. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
This is not Material related, but I think it made the problem visible. It's similar to 'this one' (https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110147-Album-grouping-buckets=933553=1#post933553) but with artists. Situation: I have some albums with ĽudovÃ*t Rajter as the conductor and artist. For LMS to sort it correctly, I use ARTISTSORT and CONDUCTORSORT. Now if I click in LMS WebUI / Material on Album Artists, I get all the album artists, grouped into these pockets, how they are apparently called. There is among others an "L" pocket, and an "Ľ .. M" pocket. I would've assumed to find ĽudovÃ*t Rajter as the first entry in the "Ľ .. M" pocket. But instead the first entry is what the last entry of the "L" pocket should be. ĽudovÃ*t Rajter is sorted in the "L" pocket (as it should be), pushing the last "L" entry out of the "L" pocket. A possible fix would be to not create a "pocket space" if there's an ARTISTSORT tag for the artist but for whatever is set in artistsort. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
I just discovered that you can select the Material Skin as the Web Interface in the LMS server settings. 26916 However, this will confuse SLX (currently) because when SLX is set to default skin, it will expect the default skin when in fact it is getting the Material Skin. For now, if using SLX, I recommend leaving the Web Interface set to Default in LMS settings and choose Material Skin in SLX or via the URL (e.g. mylms/material). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Does it fix this on its owning you wait? When the net track shows up at latest? Usually iPeng should get a notification from the server whenever the playlist is updated. However, iPeng ignores the next update if it initiated the change itself (e.g. when deleting a track) to avoid issues with the expected number of tracks. What might happen here (have to investigate) is thatthis makes iPeng miss the newly added track at first. --- learn more about iPeng, the iPhone and iPad remote for the Squeezebox and Logitech UE Smart Radio as well as iPeng Party, the free Party-App, at penguinlovesmusic.com *New: iPeng 9, the Universal App for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch* pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
