@pinkdot - the latest commit
introduces a new module Net::HTTPS::NB in CPAN. You might need to add
this to your packages when updating LMS.

Thanks for your ongoing support!

Can you post the repository link which i
must have to insert in LMS?
Until now no new version is displayed.

Might be a caching issue. Stop LMS, remove cache.db from it's cache
folder, restart. Or wait another hour.

I have updated the plugin, restarted the server and Squeezebox Radio.
The problem seems to be still here. Only some of the videos on my list
are playing, the rest of them keep to be silent.

Thankyou very much for your effort, Philippe. Very much appreciated!

Unfortunately, even after upgrading to 0.87.1, I find that are still
many videos that seem to play but there is no sound, just like others
initially reported. I am on LMS 7.9.0 for Debian Linux and I have
"YouTube API access key" set, in case that matters.

For example, attempting to play

I don't know!
I have two iplayer "buttons" to choose from, a white one and a pink one.
(Told you I'm not techy!)

Both work perfectly well for direct feed.

Neither work for On Demand/Catch up and I get the error message:
*There was an error loading the remote feed for : (Failed to parse)

The BBCiPlayer LIve and On demand preference is ONLY in the BBCiPlayer
Settings. BBCiPlayer uses BBCiPlayer to play track so there NO
preference settings in BBCiPlayerExtra Settings.

Keep the BBCiPlayerExtra "Select if you do not want DASH streams"
unchecked. It is now out of date but if checked will STOP
BBCiPlayerExtra program from playing.

Only install armourhome repo if you are using an armourhome system - it

iplayer setting v1.6.7 and also v1.5
iplayer extras v3.1.0

I don't have a choice for On Demand settings using iplayer extras. There
is no "HLS>MP3>DASH", just the "Select if you do not want DASH streams"
box which is *_NOT__*checked.
In the iplayer settings I have tried changing the order of the

I still can't get the listen again (catch up) feature (listen live works
fine).
Here is the issue:

I listen outside the UK.
My LMS is on a QNAP.
I don't know how much information you require about the version, but
here goes:

Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.2 - 1559745322 @ Wed Jun 5 16:54:07
CEST 2019
Operating system: Linux - EN - utf8
Platform Architecture: armv5tel-linux
Perl Version: 5.20.3 - arm-linux-gnueabi-thread-multi-64int
Audio::Scan: 0.95
IO::Socket::SSL: 2.049
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1)

I have installed the following plugins:
http://ecom.armourhome.co.uk/technical/BBCiplayer/repo.xml
http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml
https://sourceforge.net/projects/bpaplugins/files/betarelease-repo.xml

In the I-player settings for Live Stream and On Demand I no longer have
FLASH AAC
I only have HLS>DASH>MP3 in various orders, which doesn't seem to be a
problem for listening live.

When I go through the catch-up menu, I can select a station and
programme and it appears to play (complete with photo of the presenter)
but there is no sound.

Can anyone please help in simple terms – I'm no techy and my husband is

I looked a bit more - it's simply that no CC is discovered. You probably
have something in your network infra that blokcs mDNS/multicast. EIther
on the local machines (sending, receiving) or routing somewhere.
Usually, you find them using your smartphone because it's on the same
wifi segment than the CC. A computer is usually not and go through the
ethernet-wifi bridge

Thanks to everyone who helped me thru this SB crisis!
I think it is fixed. The final recommendation to leave the clientID
blank was the final piece to the puzzle.
I had my email address in that area. Leaving it blank has allowed
Spotify to load up on LMS.

Thank you all!!! Michael, thank you for being so helpful and hanging in

It was complicated for me but thanks to you and this forum it was
successful!

Confirmed :( The diffferent grid sizes have different CSS styles
associated. When a size is chosen, the grid is assigned a style.
Unfortuanlty, there was a size missing, and the code did not match up to
the list of styles. So, for most of the larger grid sizes the 'size'
used to calcualte where to jump to was incorrect - leading to the grid
being scrolled to the wrong place! Sorry. Will be fixed for 0.8.1

I see this here too if there's more than one column of albums. It does
not happen if I resize the album panel to show just one column. Speaking
of which, changing the window size changes the first entry shown. I
don't think that should happen.

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty present but all empty

2019-06-13 Thread Ikabob

I think I now have a stable LMS including the Spotify plugin. But, when
I open Spotty in LMS, all the categories are supposedly showing and
available, BUT they are all “empty”. Prior to my Spotty issue I had many
saved albums et cetera. Now in LMS they are “empty”. Outside of LMS, on
my Spotify app they are present and functional.

Is there a way to get those Spotty categories filled again on LMS???
Thank you.

You might need the "legacy helper" (and uninstall the other additional
helper plugins - they're not for your platform).

And make sure you're running the latest max2play.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

2019-06-13 Thread jtl

Hi,

does anybody else can reproduce this behaviour (0.8):

I have grid mode enabled and also the temporarily flash of the inital
character overlay (the white big character that shows where you are when
jumping or scrolling around).

Now, in many occasions (not all), when I e.g. press in the left fringe
jumplist on "N", it shows the big white "M" and positions _just_ before
the first N to be seen. scrolling down ever so slightly switches to the
"N" being shown (and the first album with an artist starting with N to
be in the viewable area - I also have sort artist, album enabled).

I didn't see that behaviour in the list view.

For some (maybe two or three) of the characters in my jumplist it
actually works correctly, but I have not been able to identify what
makes them different).
Wiould be nice to know if this can be reproduced for others.

Im using it at home, running Max2Play on a raspberry pie. Since last

I have tried using both the freebsd and the arm7 helper, disabling OGG
