Yeah, I was doing the fade out/in when the URL changes - not when the image was loaded. I'm using a library to do lazy loading of images, and this allows me to fadeIn when an image is loaded - all via CSS. So, I'll change mey codde for this - but it means only fade in, not fade out. *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/mobile?auto=false&debug=json 2. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I think I finally stumbled upon the source of the problem, sorry that I am slow to figure things out... The transition works if the image that "Now Playing" is transitioning to is already in the browser's cache. If I play a playlist loaded from Spotify for example, then the first time through the playlist, the fade fails to work properly for every track. Then if I start the playlist over from the beginning, it works perfectly the second time through! The same with streaming Radio Paradise, or Qobuz, most of the tracks have not been played since the last time I cleared the cache, but occasionally it does work, if the track was played recently. I usually dump the browser's cache images and files after updating material from Github. *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B&W 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite/gmrender + Material Skin > Emotiva Little Ego DAC > Senn HD 650 headphones *Phone:* Pixel 3a Phone + BubbleUPnP + Kiwi/Material > Bluetooth > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 8.0 *Music:* Personal FLAC, Radio Paradise FLAC, Qobuz, Spotify Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I have encountered several issues with this new feature... 1. Android 10 Pixel 3a Phone, Opera browser: I don't understand it, but the Opera browser simply does not understand the color selection tool. It appears to be mapping brown into where yellow should appear in the color pallet, among other mistakes. Color selection works correctly in Kiwi and Vivaldi, so I assume it is a bug in Opera. I wind up getting different colors for different widgets in the material now playing display. If using Opera - it is best to not play with this feature, and just stick with the default blue. 2. I have noticed that if I choose the dark theme, I actually get "Dark with colored toolbars" instead. The legacy installer creates all the SLX registry keys during install in order to be able to remove them on uninstall. The Store App creates them at run time. So with the legacy installer there is no accidental creating a key in the Chromium sub-processes because it is already there. Thank you for letting me know, I really appreciate it. The next version should solve your problem. It was actually a pretty interesting way this could happen related to how Chromium creates it sub-processes and how my registry reading code would create a key when reading if one did not already exist. I believe two Chromium sub-process could have been accidentally trying to create a registry key at the same time in the process of reading. Timing would have to be perfect like the same millisecond. Anyway, I am hoping this is what the issue was. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CastBridge = integrate Chromecast players with LMS (squeeze2cast)
I've been having a problem where playback stops in the middle of an album, e.g. three tracks from 10 might play and after track 3 the music stops. When I look at the interface it appears that the player is stuck in some way. The track timer is stuck part way through the last song that was played. Manually selecting the next song gets it playing again (after hearing the beep connection). I've tried the latest nightly version as well as going back to 7.9.2, but the problem is still the same. The issue is intermittent, sometimes a few songs will play before it has to be manually started again Relevant info from log below Code: ``` 09:05:39.605515] CastSocketThread:709 [0xb5e0d220]: SSL connection closed [09:06:34.448441] CastStop:261 [0x415f80]: Stop w/o session or connect [09:06:34.901793] sq_callback:360 Volume 28 [09:06:34.902918] process_strm:235 [0x3c7858] strm command s [09:06:34.903007] process_strm:304 [0x3c7858], strm s autostart: 1 transition period: 10 transition type: 0 codec: m [09:06:34.903060] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMf] msplayed 0 [09:06:34.949852] sq_callback:290 [0x415f80]: artist:Bambara album:Serafina title:Serafina genre:Rock duration:237.322 size:0 cover:http://192.168.1.13:9000/music/cd3e5c5b/cover.jpg offset:0 [09:06:35.040311] CastConnect:365 [0x415f80]: SSL connection opened [0xb5e3c270] [09:06:35.040537] CastLoad:174 [0x415f80]: Queuing LOAD [09:06:35.042357] sq_callback:318 [0x415f80]: current URI (s:0) http://192.168.1.13:49152/bridge-3.mp3 [09:06:35.042493] process_start:1198 [0x3c7858]: codec:*, ch:0, s:0, r:0 [09:06:35.042770] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMc] msplayed 0 [09:06:35.042894] sq_callback:360 Volume 28 [09:06:35.116229] CastSocketThread:762 [0x415f80]: Launching receiver 1 [09:06:35.273362] CastSetDeviceVolume:333 [0x415f80]: Queuing SET_VOLUME [09:06:35.273447] CastSimple:211 [0x415f80]: Queuing PLAY [09:06:36.748625] CastSocketThread:790 [0x415f80]: Receiver launched [09:06:36.748990] ProcessQueue:608 [0x415f80]: Processing LOAD (id:2) [09:06:36.912501] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMs] msplayed 0 [09:06:37.468811] CastSocketThread:806 [0x415f80]: Media session id 1 [09:06:37.753932] ProcessQueue:582 [0x415f80]: Processing VOLUME (id:5) [09:06:37.754037] _SyncNotifyState:471 KitchenDining: Cast pause [09:06:37.754074] sq_notify:636 [0x3c7858] unsollicited pause [09:06:37.759767] sq_callback:360 Volume 0 [09:06:37.759895] CastSetDeviceVolume:323 [0x415f80]: Immediate VOLUME (id:7) [09:06:37.759946] process_strm:235 [0x3c7858] strm command p [09:06:37.759972] process_strm:265 [0x3c7858] pause (interval:0) [09:06:37.759998] CastSimple:211 [0x415f80]: Queuing PAUSE [09:06:37.760024] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMp] msplayed 0 [09:06:37.838690] ProcessQueue:589 [0x415f80]: Processing PLAY (id:8) [09:06:37.970941] ProcessQueue:589 [0x415f80]: Processing PAUSE (id:9) [09:06:38.897567] sq_callback:360 Volume 39 [09:06:48.005341] slimproto_run:570 [0x3c7858] Closing CLI socket 23 [09:06:52.406883] sq_callback:360 Volume 0 [09:06:52.407227] process_strm:235 [0x3c7858] strm command u [09:06:52.407300] process_strm:284 [0x3c7858] unpause at: 0 now: 668317121 [09:06:52.407423] CastSetDeviceVolume:323 [0x415f80]: Immediate VOLUME (id:22) [09:06:52.407495] CastSimple:199 [0x415f80]: Immediate PLAY (id:23) [09:06:52.407521] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMr] msplayed 0 [09:06:52.407846] sq_callback:360 Volume 39 [09:06:52.407981] CastSetDeviceVolume:323 [0x415f80]: Immediate VOLUME (id:25) [09:06:52.564171] _SyncNotifyState:441 [0x415f80]: Cast playing [09:07:30.546141] CastPingThread:664 [0xb5e10f90]: No response to ping [09:07:30.546952] CastPingThread:664 [0xb5e0a160]: No response to ping [09:07:30.580249] read_bytes:169 [s-0xb5e11080]: socket closed [09:07:30.580315] CastSocketThread:709 [0xb5e10f90]: SSL connection closed [09:07:30.595767] read_bytes:169 [s-0xb5e0b538]: socket closed [09:07:30.595828] CastSocketThread:709 [0xb5e0a160]: SSL connection closed [09:07:31.789178] read_bytes:181 [s-0xb5e3c270]: SSL error code 6 (err:0) [09:07:31.789331] CastSocketThread:709 [0xb5e3c000]: SSL connection closed [09:07:39.453054] UpdateCastDevice:468 [0xb5e0d220]: changed ip:port 192.168.1.82:42505 [09:07:39.453209] mDNSsearchCallback:752 [0x40c4b8]: refreshing renderer (Lounge group) [09:08:57.324988] UpdateCastDevice:468 [0xb5e0d220]: changed ip:port 192.168.1.71:42505 [09:09:52.509098] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMd] msplayed 24351 [09:09:52.527842] process_strm:235 [0x3c7858] strm command s [09:09:52.527929] process_strm:304 [0x3c7858], strm s autostart: 1 transition period: 10 transition type: 0 codec: m [09:09:52.527956] sendSTAT:166 [0x3c7858]: STAT:[STMf] msplayed 24351 [09:09:52.540603] bind_socket:397 cannot bind socket 29 [09
