Does UPnPBridge work with LMS 8.0?

Currently it doesn't work for me.
Or is it a problem of last update, I tested it with my Bose Soundtouch.
I am sure it worked a month before.

That's sad :-(.

On the other hand, as I am using the mobile 90% of the time, thiose
icons are not visible anyway. What I would actually need is a solution
for the mobile case.

Hi,

the display of a multi CD Album works very nice with the header for each
CD in the list, unfortunately both of the icons in the hover toolbar "+"
and ">" do the same thing, that is adding (">" should replace the
current play list)...

A little suggestion when it comes to those nice hover toolbars/icons:
Would it be possible to add the "play album starting at track" icon, too
over a track (as it is in the three dot menu), because at least for me
that is most often my default action.

Feature release, main changes:

- When LMS is set to list a multi-CD album as 1 album, then visually
split up the CDs' track listings, and allow to play individual CDs.
- Add a play icon over cover-art of current track in queue.
- Add 'More' action to subtoolbar for artist and albums to acces
online services, biography, artist photos, and album review.
- Group synced players in 'Manage players' dialog.
- Center-align text in grid view.
- Show add/play buttons on hover of browse items with desktop
  browsers.
- Remove 'Playlists' from search dialog. This only searched playlist
  names, not content.
- Fix toggling of all alarms via icon.
- Don't toggle between 'i' and play/pause button when showing track
  info in mobile layout.
- Update web page's title to contain current song.
- In portrait now-playing, allow 3 lines for 'remote_title'
- Add option for larger icons.

My guess is that the LMS field I'm using to display the last scan is

The only real update is an alternative repo URL to the 1st post as
sourceforge can be unreliable.

http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml

For a long time there were users still using Triodes plugin and patches
so had to keep Triodes 1.3.* in main 3rd party section. Also many users
of my 1.4.* plugin who didn't want to migrate. Downloads of both seem to
be small now - so maybe time to consider making the plugins available
via the main 3rd party list.

No problem, mistakes happen :-) Not sure what you mean by "Does it work
in English" - all strings are in English. When you select a new
language, Material sees if the english string has a mapping to the
chosen language - and if so uses the mapped version. If you mean does
(e.g) "Sync '%1' with:" get replaced with "Sync 'Wibble' with:" - then
yes. Material's translation system is *very* simple, and only supports
%1 and %2 - so you can have (e.g.) "Move queue from %1 to %2". But the
translated version can only have the same number of % markers as the
original untranslated US-English version.

Apologies for a lame post from me, but can someone remind me of the
latest status of BBC support? I'm in the UK and I've had to reinstall my
server (old one went boom) and I need to go hunting for my plugins
again. I have the BBCIplayer plugin by Triode listed under 3rd party
plugins; is that latest and greatest or is there a new one by bpa? If
so, can someone share the links and install notes for it? I guess
whatever is the latest needs to handle BBC Sounds?

Many thanks.

AFAICT The last mention of "proxied" in a post in this thread was in
2017. Perhaps there was a deleted post.

I assume this is when using larger fonts/icons? If so, should now be
fixed.

What are you talking about? BBC iPlayer plugin always relays data
through the LMS server, so any perceived improvement turning on/off
proxied playback is either imagined or an accidental coincidence with
some other change eg. broadband or BBC issues. "Placebo effect" is a
good shorthand for that. If you actually think something else is going
on inside LMS and the plugin then you are wrong, bpa knows what he's
talking about.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

2020-03-15 Thread Michael Herger
If I fire up Material before a player has connected, browsing to My
Music would throw an error:

[Error] [Sun, 15 Mar 2020 06:18:56 GMT] ERROR:Error: Network Error – [] (0)
logError (utils.js:49)
logAndShowError (utils.js:54)
(anonyme Funktion) (browse-page.js:2119)
promiseReactionJob

If I then go back to the main menu, and navigate to My Music again, it's
fine. I only get this error the very first time. Maybe you should defer
that call when there's no player?
