Glad you sorted it out. Ill add those tips to the docs because they are the kind of issues that might crop up for others. philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Squeezelite-X
Submitted 2.6.29 to MS Store. Changes: - Fixed issue where certain pages in Material Skin were not respecting language as selected in the LMs Server settings. I can't say I truly understand this one, so any expertise anyone can offer will be appreciated. I would think this would be handled more automatically by the browser framework. I don't understand why I am seeing this with only the material skin, only on certain pages, and only in SLX. But to fix it, I query the LMS server preference for language and then I call a function in the Chromium engine to to tell it to only accept that language before loading a page. It solves the problem, but this solution does not feel right to me. Anyway, that's the fix. (Also, if you change the language you'll have to refresh the browser for it to take (F5). I had to log off the Alexa app and re log in as my wife, who evidently is the primary user. We have a Amazon household account and I must be a secondary user. Then I repeated the process and it now works. BTW, I also discovered my second Echo Dot in my kid's room was not working and it was because I had Free Time turned on. Once I turned this off, I can now use Mediaserver with both Echo Dots. Thanks for the help! Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synchronise line in input?
my lms server is running on a pc next to the multi-room amp in a cupboard and isnt anywhere physical that i can link to using line-in and waveinput (which i cant get working reliably anyway as it always breaks with 2 analog inputs from usb soundcards which are required for my multiple virtual squeezelite players) so im left with a solution that is local to the record player - with a analog line-in that can send out a stream eg mp3 via wired or wireless ethernet that the lms server can connect to dunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112447 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synchronise line in input?
What is a reasonable price for you? My solution was a 2nd hand line-in to USB ADC which then plugging into an already in place Raspberry Pi that was running LMS ... and the WaveIn plugin that I mentioned in the first reply. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Synchronise line in input?
i was hoping to play the output of a record player (inbuilt phono preamp, analog line output) using LMS but the record player is too far away: no wires no bluetooth stream plenty of network (wired and wireless) i was happy with a small commerical streamer box that has line in and an mp3 url stream to play, but never found one at a reasonable price delay getting started doesnt matter as long as it keeps on streaming through the pauses whilst vinyl is changed dunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=47124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112447 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Using Material Skin, is there a reason why in the alphabetical order sometimes letters are missing? I refer to the vertical list of letters that appears to the left of a list of artists, for instance. In the default artists list I miss the letter L. In a custom artist list I miss the letter M. gorman's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108550 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I've installed this extension and can recreate the issue - it happens in ALL text fields. Looks like its an incompatibility between this and vuetifyjs (the toolkit Material uses). Same issue happens on vuetifyjs website - https://v15.vuetifyjs.com/en/components/text-fields. Looks like the text is not sent to the relevant input control. *Material debug:* 1. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hello. I'm new to Material skin and I thought of trying it with my Pi3 + the offical 7'' touchscreen + 'fullpageos' (https://github.com/guysoft/FullPageOS) (= basically Buster lite + Chromium + some scripts and configuration). For the touchscreen I needed a "virtual/on-screen keyboard" Chromium browser extension and eventually I settled for "'virtual keyboard' (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/virtual-keyboard/pflmllfnnabikmfkkaddkoolinlfninn)" which is supposed to be quite good. And it is. BUT I have one problem with virtual keyboard and Material skin (maybe Javascript related?): the basic/normal search button does not work with the virtual keyboard. When I call the search dialog in Material skin the virtual keyboard comes up and I can type/enter the search string. But there's *no way to submit this search*, not by using the enter button on the virtual keyboard nor by closing the keyboard and then pressing the Material skin search button. I've been able to replicate this on a Google Chrome desktop browser (with mouse not touch events). The same problem. As soon as I enter a character in the search field using the virtual keyboard the search button just empties the input field and does not submit anything. I've been looking at the script.js file of the browser extension but I couldn't fix the problem so far. I know debugging problems related to virtual keyboard is not at all your problem but I would be very grateful for any hint as to what (events, triggers...) I need to look out for so I can fix this. Thank you very much.
