Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin

2020-10-03 Thread defec1

HI, first i'd like to apologize in advance if this question has already
been answered. On my Android 9 device using Kiwi and Material 1.9.1 the
lock screen information seems to have vanished recently although I can't
pinpoint exactly when. If anyone has any ideas on how to make it return
please let me know. The pause function is really useful when playing
things loud and someone pops in wanting to talk. The cover background
also looks way cool. Thanks.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 4.4 - more personalised content

2020-10-03 Thread furnace

I use LMS 7.9.1, Spotty 4.4.0, Helper app 0.12.0

Using Spotify on my Android (Pixel 2) device shows the RPi players on my
network. However, other family members (using their Pixel 2) cannot see
the players. In addition, one of the players occasionally disappears and
reappears. I have checked the box marked "Monitor the connection of the
Spotty Connect helper with the Spotify servers. This can be useful if
your Spotty Connect enabled devices regularly disappear from the Spotify
apps."

Any suggestions?

You have chosen "flow" as the transcoding mode. It means that *all*
streams must be same sample rate & size, so I have to choose one in
absence of parameters, it's 44100

Now that i look again... Right you are. Would leave them off if i could,
it's by far the slowest part of my library scan. I haven't been big on
local playlists anyhow... What ones i do make, I'll start them with a
letter before S so i don't lose them in my clutter :)

Integration is great otherwise. What makes it for me is that new saved
albums show up in New Music according to the saved date, same as if
they're files i just bought or ripped.

Thank you for continuing to contribute! Your post made me check
everything in the players screen again.

I figured it out. Well, I got it to stop.

My iPhone has iPeng playback enabled and I occasionally use it. Even
though it’s not part of the sync group, it was causing the volume drop.

I muted the iPhone in the list, and the problem went away. I also
cleared the cached playlist for the iPhone, and the problem hasn’t
returned.

At the moment, lots of "weird" internet service problems (e.g. timeout,
error in connection) have been caused by https support as services are
requiring the use of up to date SSL/TLS. At the same time LMS has had
updates to support https.

IO::Socket::SSL V2.049 is from 2017 !

Since I have a

1. Can you update your LMS to at least 7.9.3
2. Can you make sure your packages libio-socket-ssl-perl
libnet-ssleay-perl are up to date.
3. What OS are you running ? If it is Raspbianj - you shoudl eb able
to up date it so that IO::Socket::SSL is at version 2.06

Hi

Live BBC iPlayer feeds just die (and pretty much bring down LMS) after
playing for about 2 mins

I get loads of these messages

BBC data while playing so try fetching again
Plugins::BBCiPlayer::BBCOnAir::__ANON__ (214) error fetching BBC
segments data while playing so try fetching again

Non-live streams work fine

Some sysinfo:

It still does it with ungrouped players, as well as with local music.

I rebooted the piCorePlayer server and my phone before I posted earlier.

Every time I open iPeng on my iPhone SE (2020), it lowers the volume of
my grouped players. However, it doesnt do this when I open the
app with my iPad Air (2019, IOS 14.0.1).

I love iPengs functionality for controlling my players throughout
the house, but this volume quirk is very frustrating, because I need
volume control for the different amplification setups at each player.

Anyone else have this problem, or even solved it?

The plugin was working fine. I'd to update my Client ID & secret. But
when I try to select my playlist I don't get any result.
I've checked the log files and there the following error was thrown

Code:

Any idea what's going wrong.
Updated the access a few times, but w/o positive results.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: YouTube Plugin (API v3)

2020-10-03 Thread Mercenary

Hi guys,
I tried to get my Youtube plugin working again, after not really using
it for quite a while.

I followed the steps in the first message of this thread and everything
works but at some point I need ot fill in this "OAuth consent screen"
page and I am struggling there.

Which fields (other than those with the red * ) need to be filled and
with what?

I keep getting an error message and cannot proceed to the OAUTH
generation anymore.

Any idea what needs to be done?

Thanks and cheers,

Merc
