Unfortunately it looks to me that the Revo always wants to receive a small chunk of data, like 128kB by doing a range-request, and then never follow-up. I don't support range-request (because it's not a static content I have), so I don't answer to range-request by a 206, but by a 200 which, AFAIK, is the right answer (can't do range, but here is the whole content). Problem is that their HTTP and/or UPnP management stack seem to be broken, like many. It is incorrect and non-compliant to assume that a HTTP source has random access to content. You can try, but if the answer from the server is "no", and you fail with that response, then your client is incorrect. I understand perfectly that this is a niche case and therefore I need to fork your repo and implement this myself. But your Material skin is a complex and beautiful beast. :) Could you maybe do me a favor and tell me -where exactly in the code Material gets/receives the rating for the currently playing song-? I did go through your code (esp. the js files) and found the setrating lmscommand but it almost seemed as if rating was part of the playerstatus reply which I learned in jivelite normally doesn't include a rating value. Or so I thought. I could try to modify the existing rating query to pick up a rating value from my plugin - or if that doesn't work I could try to add a server request for the comment tag and translate keywords into ratings. (That's what I did with jivelite's NowPlaying screen.) Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you. P.S. And yes, you are absolutely correct. Empty stars are irritating. That's why I left the space empty if the track is unrated and only displayed stars if there is a rating. afriend's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39306 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Spotify Connect devices are correctly and permanently announced and the interface is now lightning fast. The old Dockstar unit served me well for 10years and was still reliable for file serving, but the Pi3 is much faster and has apparently solved my issue> Many thanks for your help and the masses of work you do to keep this held together. Mark 4 Pis running piCoreplayer served by LMS on a Seagate Dockstar running Squeezeplug . I've attached the bridge log - it's from starting the bridge, through selecting an mps to when the Revo hangs on "Loading". The is set to 'if known' and I will continue playing/testing with other modes. It may or may not be related but I am also seeing a lot of reverse DNS lookups (in-addr.arpa) from the Revo to 50.1.168.192. That could be Sonoma Radio but as I don't have a Sonoma station saved in my favourites, I'm a bit baffled as to why the Revo would be contacting them on start-up. Many thanks for any advice you can offer. +---+ |Filename: upnpbridge-log.log | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=32056| +---+ pantomnesia's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70846 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
