Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
I am running into a problem that feels like the opposite of expiration. My library has hundreds of artists that are never found (almost exclusively classical), but MAI keeps trying to download them every time, which I suspect consumes most of the artist picture lookup scan time. Is there any way to say don't try to lookup this artist if you tried and failed in the last x days (and if not, do you think it would be a good idea)? You can only limit whether you want to download them for all roles, or only album artists. Other than that just put some placeholder image for those files in your picture folder. By using the option to create .missing files for them you can easily figure out what you need. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

33685 The code structure is not as clean as I would like. I spent ages trying to break the stylesheet and scripts into separate files, but each time I did it the EQ would break. I also found that when I removed the reference to the empty javascript file that I had created to split out the code then the EQ would break too. I doubt if any of the above really matters, just in case any more technically minded people want to know. I have tested these amendments on 2 different PCs using chrome; vivaldi and edge plus chrome on my phone. I have also tested using squeezelite-x windows app. It does not work under internet explorer! Install Inguz and enable the plugin in the normal way. Locate the folder that the Inguz plugin is located - you should see files like install.xml and plugin.pm Open the folder called HTML then each folder in turn until you reach another folder called InguzEQ. There you should see a number of files like index.html; restart.html; silverlight.js make a copy of index.html Copy the 2 files in the attached zip to this folder and overwrite index.html Stop and restart your squeezebox server. Ensure that a player is running and navigate to the extras menu. You should now get the reskinned version of Inguz. If you are using material skin you need to use the settings menu to activate the Extras Menu. You will see the graph has gone. The buttons have been replaced with sliders. I have moved the loading and setting of presets to the top of the screen. +---+ |Filename: InguzReskin.zip | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=33685| +---+ foxesden's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=56286 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113604 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce - Song info plugin for FIP radio
Paul, not sure if you care about the icon Material uses but if you do... Material currently has a JSON file that maps from RadioFrance's PNG file to an SVG that ships with Material. As of Material 2.3.0 plugins can ship with these SVG icons, and Material will use that in prefence to its own. This allows you to use a better, or different icon. To know if a plugin's PNG icon has a matching SVG icon, Material looks at the filename. If this ends in _svg.png then Material expects there to be a matching .svg file. e.g. if you rename your icon to -radiofrance_svg.png- and copy https://raw.githubusercontent.com/CDrummond/lms-material/master/MaterialSkin/HTML/material/html/images/france.svg to -radiofrance.svg- (place this in the same folder as -radiofrance_svg.png-) then Material will use this - and I can remove my mapping. When loading SVG files, Material will replace any "#000" string with its desired icon colour. Make sense? This also has the advantage that other control UIs could also use these SVG icons. *Material debug:* 1. Beta 3 now available. This introduces the ability to collapse programmes with multiple segments into a single top level menu item which then expands to the programme plus all segments at the next level down. See Settings field "Flatten the schedule". There are still some anomalies because of data differences in their different stations but it works quite well. I'll probably change the titles for the expanded items to not include the name of the programme so that there is more space to see the segment name. Hi BoomX2, thanks a lot for the fast reply and confirmation. Do you have an issue report somewhere so that I can stop asking annoying questions . Maybe also a change log available on e.g. Github? Regarding the icon do you have any clue what it could be? I may be wrong but in the past there was an icon in the Extra menu on Jive/Jivelite, right? I presume that I then place this in the material-skin folder as per the advanced settings on your web page? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sugarcube - Settings clarification
just checking if sugarcube spicefly is for me. It's basically working. But the setting " Restrict Mixing to Genre of Seed Track" does not work. Even though i select a Track with Genre "Jazz" and create a mix, other genres are listed. Is this a known issue? mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114102 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It's a few less clicks but going via My Sounds/Subscriptions achieves exactly the same thing. Using Subscribe is the way to follow/favourite a series. I could probably make that possible by introducing some kind of URL based playlist representation of a series, but what is the advantage of having them in favourites over going to My Sounds->Subscriptions? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Hello All Is it possible to add a subscribed programme to the favourites folder. I frequently listen to Pick of the Pops (I cant help wallowing in the nostalgia) along with various other shows. With the old iPlayer plugin I did have a favorites entry which allowed me to quickly see what new POTP episodes had been added. With the new (and brilliant) Sounds app I can add individual episodes to favorites but not the programme as a whole hopefully that makes sense. I can obviously get to the programme by browsing through MySounds etc but wondered if there was a quicker way. I had a quick search through the thread but couldnt see that this has been asked before. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] playing lms on google home players
I assume it is using the BLE sensing capability of the newer devices as a feed into the presence routines in GH ... however, I don't see how to enable that. Perhaps it is not turned on in all countries yet. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Is musicip still working?
Yes musicipheadless web inteface is reachable, it has mixable songs, it can be mixed directly on the headless web page. Also, the music path is identical everywhere. And till this morning, my eval license of sugarcube seems to have arrived. Menu is visible, but mixing isn't working. get this in the logs: [21-03-07 09:56:01.9030] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1283) Warning: [09:56:01.7119] Argument "" isn't numeric in numeric gt (>) at /config/cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/SugarCube/HTML/EN/plugins/SugarCube/settings/liveview.html line 23. sugarcube debug log is showing, that musicio server is delivering a mix, but nothing is listed in sugarcube menu mamema's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44662 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113991 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
