Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : BBC Sounds Plugin
Version 2.15.0 includes the following new feature: NEW FEATURES: - Option to immediately play/add to playlist directly from the menu item without the requirement to select "play" from the sub-menu There is now an option in the settings to make playable items immediately playable/add to playlist without going into the sub menu and selecting the "play" menu. To turn it on select this setting : 34005 When this option is on, you will see in your controller that when you have a list of playable items (from any menu or search) your controller will let you select play or add to playlist immediately from the item. Selecting the item still takes you into the playable item sub menu as normal (Play, all episodes, subscribe etc). It useful when you want to go through a list of playable items and add it to the playlist without going into the sub menu of each one. You may well ask why this isn't the default behaviour. This is because I've had to implement a bit of a work around to make a menu item that has a sub-menu, playable. I'm not entirely sure how the controllers will react to that, as it is not entirely normal (the hardware controllers are fine with it). I've tested it on the classic, material skin, squeeze control and they behave completely fine, they all present the play/add to playlist option while still supporting clicking on the item to access the sub menu. Orange squeeze goes its own way a bit, but it is still functional. I would be interested to know how ipeng works with this option on (i don't have any apple products) 34006 Dependent on feedback, I can make this the default behaviour in future releases. +---+ |Filename: Screenshot 2021-03-30 12.37.36.png | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=34006| +---+ Stuart McLean EXPECTINGTOFLY PLUGINS : - *BBC Sounds* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin - *BBC Sounds Wiki* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_BBC_Sounds_Plugin/wiki - *Virgin Radio (UK)* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_Virgin_Radio_Plugin - *Times Radio* : https://github.com/expectingtofly/LMS_TIMES_RADIO_PLUGIN expectingtofly's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63263 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=113045 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Actually it's (4.3-1857~g221c29b40) running together with LMS 8.2.0 on a separate RPi4 25/7 w/o any issues. It's fed by two DVB-C tuners (SAT>IP) via LAN. Everything like timeshift, recording (to a NAS) EPG is working really nice and smooth. Clients are Kodi (Kodi18.9/OSMC on a RPi3) two phones with Android 8.0.0 and Kodi 19 as well as one Win10 PC with Kodi 19 (my son's room). The best is, since I found Andrews TVH PlugIn for LMS - It's very easy to listen to all audio streams (Radio and TV) from TvHeadEnd from any SqueezePlayer incl. icons and Co. Maybe sometime in the future EPG will work in that combo. https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?110619-ANNOUNCE-TVH-Plugin-TVHeadend-integration=tvheadend (at this point again @CodeChimp, thanks for this nice PlugIn :) ) lms: logitech media server version: 8.2.0 - 1616690655 @ thu mar 25 18:15:21 cet 2021 squeeze-players: duet - controller firmware: 8.0.1-r16835 receiver firmware: 77 2x radio - firmware: 8.0.1-r16835 raspberrypi 2b - pcp 7.0.0/ squeezelite v1.9.9-1364-pcp transporter - firmware: 87 softsqueeze 3.9.2 on win 10 / squeezeplay 8.0.1r1343 on win 10 squeeze player 1.3.21 on s7/android 8.0.0 controller: android phone - squeezer 2.2.4/ material skin 2.3.5 MichaelPr's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68465 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109018 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Hi Craig, reposting as not sure if you seen previous request.. In players selection screen (popup) holding power icon for a while brings sleep screen, which is brilliant. I think it would also be a great to be able to hold name of player(or icon on left) for its settings screen (perhaps scrolled to alarms which I assume will be mostly used part of players settings) What do you think? In fairness, it's easy to miss Audio Settings because you have to scroll up to see it - Basic Settings is the default selection. I was unaware it was there for some time as I assumed that Basic Settings was the first in the list.
