Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Qobuz.com streaming plugin
Is there a way to find «My Weekly Q» from the plugin interface? I don't know, unfortunately. Qobuz removed all public documentation a while ago. Which means I have no access to any documentation which might help me to get access to new features :-(. The duration (and other data) has to be retrieved using a second request. The resulting list of extra info is then matched to the primary list. The extra info list is requested to be returned sorted in a specific way, but I forgot to apply the same sorting to the main search request. I'll fix it for the next update. As to the artist name in the parentheses, it's not supposed to do that. The parentheses are really just meant for showing the year in album lists, but adding code to handle the special case of search returns is just not worth it, so I'm just going to let it be. -- Squeezebox apps for Android and Windows UWP, http://www.angrygoatapps.com wt0's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18760 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=96757 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] 'MediaServer' *certified* Alexa skill for LMS
35539 I'm playing with a beta that allows -infinite -concurrent *Stream-to-Echo* players to exist (in the released skill, only one Alexa pseudo-player is possible). For the P.O.C., the name that shows in the LMS GUI or iPeng for the pseudo-player is formed by prepending 'Alexa-' to the last 5 characters from the Echo's reported deviceId (see above screenshot which shows 5 concurrent Alexaplayers in iPeng). Does it matter that these names are pretty meaningless to the user? Would it be better to append the name of the assumed player instead? Or, would it be better still to add a new intent which just like the assume command allows you to assign a name to the Echo using your voice? Unfortunately, skills cannot request the friendlyName you gave your Echo's in the Alexa app, so something has to be either concocted or specified. +---+ |Filename: scr.PNG | |Download: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=35539| +---+ philchillbill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68920 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111016 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

So at this point I think I mostly have it working, and wanted to follow up in case anybody else ever runs into this...it only works transcoded to mp3, fixed mode, and what seems to have really made the difference was setting gapless to forced and the afore end setting to a really high number, 500. Once all this was in place it played hours without stopping. I wanted to ask; is there a way since it's transcoding to convert to mono at that point? My stream is mono and that seems like an ideal place to do that. I'm seeing mp3:256,r:-44100,s:16 in the config file; is there some switch I could add to enable 1 channel conversion?
