Thanks, that is- so weird-. I've also since tested on a Moto G4 Play running Android 10, so I have struck out on 9/10/11 with devices from 3 different makers! Do you have links for any older builds? - I'm really keen to check it out, without causing you a huge effort. I have not messed with those settings though, and everything was enabled. The option "File Format Conversion Setup --- Prefer native format (decoding on the player) whenever possible" was enabled though. It helps a lot to know that it CAN work. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I was surprised to see that Spotify albums appear as multiple disc albums in My Music. They don't in the Spotify app so how does LMS know? It's not about the lack of information, but about the implementation: the data is there, but Spotty doesn't take advantage of it. The model in which music services are implemented, doesn't really support this case well. Music service implementations don't return music information to the UIs, but rather complete menu structures. Unlike the generic "albums" etc. queries, which would return a ton of information about the albums and tracks etc. stored in the local database. ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I run several as well as several servers for testing purposes. So, I am assuming that this happens on first run and you never get the main SLX screen? Otherwise. I'd ask to see some logging info, at least to see sorta when/where this is happening. It sounds like some sort of filename location is messed up, such that the syntax is incorrect, so that is really odd. Anyway, I've never seen this, so I need some clues, especially since I have not Windows 7 machines anymore. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: UPnPBridge = integrate UPnP/DLNA players with LMS (squeeze2upnp)
Hi. I'm trying to use the plugin to stream Tidal, Qobuz and local files through the iFi Zen Stream. Everything appears to be working well for a pretty long stretch of time (sometimes 3 or 4 hours) without any intervention. However, at some point in a long playlist the stream will stop. An "http parsing error" appears in the log before this happens. I've reproduced this behavior many times now in the course of my testing. If I manually advance to another track, the player will start again and all will be well until it happens again. I would need a plugin debug log showing the time period where the behavior occurs in order to see what triggers the volume spike. If you can't replicate the problem on demand, you might want to just turn debug on and leave it on until it happens, then upload the log file along with an indication of what time it occurred. Hi - thanks for the reply! Yes I checked on permissions already, and the only thing available to Allow was Storage, which I turned on, but it didn't help. The device I've tried so far is an Oppo A54 5G running Android 11 with Nov 2021 Security update. I'll try a couple of others and report my results. For "comma separated" to work it needs to be preceded by "TITLE=" e.g. "TITLE=Abc;OTHER=123" Also, comments are used for titles only when multi-disc albums are shown as 1 album. If this is set, when browsing albums in grid view you should see a double-cd icon top left. Also, when clicking the "(+)" or "(>)" icons on hover you should be prompted as to which disc to use. *Material debug:* 1. Hi, I was going to make the change, but can I clarify your requirement? My understanding of your requirement was if a player is "Power off", you would like the player can be automatically turned on after sharing to "Play on LMS"? Is that right? I also did a test on my environment (LMS + picoreplayer/squeezelite) and my player can be automatically turned on already. But I am not sure all types of players have the same behaviour as I only have picoreplayer/squeezelite players. SamY wrote: > > Update: Just discovered that if you're using the Material Skin LMS > interface, you need to make sure the "Fixed volume players" setting on > its plugin menu is set to "Display standard volume control". OK. The Material Skin issue was the problem. It looks like the Jivelite player doesn't work? I have my Rasp Pi plugged into my AVR via HDMI and a USB DAC. The Denon is set to get video via this HDMI input while getting analog audio via the DAC. All audio settings are saved to this input automatically. The Jivelite player shows me what's playing. I also have a USB dongle connected to the Pi that goes with a multimedia remote. It has media keys, a D pad, and all sorts of extra buttons, some programmable along with an alphanumeric keyboard on the back (for searches). I have the power button programmed to switch inputs on the Denon to the picoreplayer which will also turn on the AVR if its off. Most of the buttons on the remote work, but when playback is set to always play at 100%, it does not allow volume changes. I assume I need to change Jivelite for this? Oddly, my Play/Pause button doesn't work (hasnt ever) so I need to patch it for this anyway. uudruid74's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72371 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=60114 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi RCST - this app sounds awesome : I'm a big fan of such ingenious solutions. Unfortunately I can't get the app to run, and would be grateful for any suggestions. - I've downloaded the app from the link in your first post (it reports v1.5) - I've approved unknown sources, and it appear ins my list of installed apps in settings and app drawer. - When I try to launch it my screen just flashes and returns to the app drawer. - The Share target exists from tidal, but unsurprisingly fails as the app isn't initialised (its Storage details show it using no data and no cache). It appears that it tries to launch something, but then just returns to TIdal Thanks! agt's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70783 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=114611 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
