Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] PiCorePlayer - Installing Tidal --- Error Message - Plugin Failed to Load ...........
OK, the guy I am helping did a complete re-install of PcP and Updated LMS and Updated Libs - and is getting the same error message when he checks the Tidal Plugin Box - Tidal Plugin Failed to load. I had him dump the Server Log: Did he resize his partition before the install? How much free space left on it? There must be thousands of these configurations out there... wouldn't there have been any errors during the installation process? ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The reason I ask is that I suspect it has Modern Standby, which is different as I don't get messages from the OS saying it is entering sleep/ waking up and I cannot control the order of events. I believe what might be happening is the browser wakes up before the player and thinks the player is gone, so automatically reselects a player. I'm betting this does not happen for other players, just the local player, right? I'll take another look at this issue. Hopefully, there is a way for my app to register for Modern Standby events and react. If I disable spotty fall back access point...can it not play with sound Start of track...progress bar counts to 2 maybe 5 and jumps to 0 and stops, no sound Knudch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72714 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116216 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

The behavior is not consistent every time a track is played Sometimes it play 5 sec with sound, progress bar pause a few sec or jump 2-3 sec back all with sound. Other times progress bar start counting to 2 sec but no sound, jump back to 0 and play from that point with sound setting spotty-86_64 disabled or not does not change anything Knudch's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=72714 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=116216 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

SPT setting... ? Not quite clear for me... If you are talking about Spotty filetype settings on that page ? I got Spotty.debug output in the log (added log44perl.logger.plugin.spotty = debug to ./prefs/log.conf) No need to edit that file: there's a UI for this :-). Settings/Advanced/Logging. What I still don't understand is whether you'd get any playback at all, any audio. When you say "plays 1-3secs" is this audible playback, or just some progress bar moving? LMS/Spotty plugin seems to struggel to keep streaming. But as you predicted, 4.8.0 also has the problem, then this has been ticked off. So you're saying that the issue is ongoing?
