Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce : Global Player (UK) Plugin (Classic FM, Capital, Smooth, Heart, LBC etc.)
I wonder if you can help a relative novice get Global Player plug-in to work (v1.1.0). I installed it about 1 week ago, but I always get "Connect Timed Out" when I select any of the 4 options: Radio, Catch Up, Playlists, Podcasts. I haven't managed to get it working at all so far. BBC Sounds, Spotty and works fine, and I can access Classic FM on Squeezebox via http://media-ice.musicradio.com/ClassicFMMP3 I am on the latest community release of LMS running on a Netgear ReadyNAS Ultra4 Plus with various client devices Touch, Boom, Radio and Receiver. I've set streaming mode in settings/advanced/network to cache to disk. Can you help? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] SuperDateTime Screensaver v5.11.0 - Date/Time/Weather/Sports/Stocks
Hi Don. Turns out it was the identifier. I have no idea how. It was working before the LMS load. I even keep images of my set up screens to be sure. Anyway, what I was using doesn't work any longer so I just found a nearby town and all is well. Thanks for checking in. Thanks for checking. At least you are up and working again. As I don't seem to be able simulate what happens when the token expires, I think what I'll do is make a change so that token won't expire. e.g. Force a sign-out if the token is within 3 weeks of expiring and ask the user to sign in again to create a new 2 year token. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Radio Now Playing plugin
Beta 0.0.28l - Add MediaWorks (New Zealand) all of the regular stations plus most of the web radio stations Renamed the previous incarnation in the beta - from rova to MediaWorks This is because rova promotes a number of stations that are not in MediaWorks group and I think if I am going to try to include the rova additions then I need a better way to get the list of stations and related data. Adds around 48 stations. Is it possible that you have been signed in for 2 years? If so, the security token it stores as a cookie expires after that time and you would be required to log in again (as the plugin does not store your login and password). What I'm expecting to happen is that all you need to do is login again. Although, as you can imagine, I'm not sure exactly what state all the various security cookies are in at that point and how that affects sign-in again. I've tried to simulate it by changing expiry dates etc, but I can't recreate this reported error, the login again works fine. To try to mitigate any problems in version 2.25.5 I changed it so that when you do a sign in from the settings page it always does a sign out to clear out any residual security tokens. So I'm surprised you are having problems. What would be great is if you still have an LMS instance in a state where you can't log in, if you could Private message me a copy of your 'cookies.dat' file it is usually in the slimserver/Cache folder. If you shutdown LMS before retrieving that will ensure all cached cookies have been written to the file. I should be able to try and recreate the problem then. Thank you.
